Do you have access to a skilled clubsmith/fitter? You would need to hit both the Miura or the WS to tell which one you preferred. And, the fitter could get launch monitor data so you could compare the performance - in your hands - of different clubs.

Be aware that the two new irons may not be preferable to the RSi1 once you try them. As far as "heads are too heavy," you could lessen the swingweight of the RSi1 irons if you had somewhat heavier grips. A skilled clubsmith/fitter would have the equation to use to figure out how to lessen the swingweight a useful amount with heavier grips.

What you could do at first is get launch monitor data on your 6i, then put a heavier grip on your 6i, and get new launch monitor data. Between your personal reaction to the heavier grip, and the launch data, you could get an idea if the regripping would work.

(If the heavier grip slows down you swing and you lose clubhead and ball speed - and distance - the heavier grips might not be the solution.

Also... what shafts do you have in the RSi1, and what shafts come in the other clubs? What are the weights and flex profiles? Shaft weight also influences head feel/swing weight. Remember, a clubhead is only half the club.

(Someone probably will argue that the shaft is more than half, but whatever... It's partly metaphor)

Focus, connect and follow through!

    • Day 22 (23 May 24) / played the weekly nine-hole semi-scramble with the guys.  Solid play - primary focus was on making solid contact with the irons.
    • Day 41: Pitching/chipping into the net. A few full swings with driver hitting Almost Golf balls.
    • Day 568, May 23, 2024 Loooooooong day today. Got some shadow work done with an umbrella.
    • Day 148: 5/23/24 Hit balls on the range measuring ball speed for each club. Recently watched a fitting video where the fitter said he targeted 5 mph ball speed increase for each club.  Mine weren’t quite there. 4 and 5 mph were pretty similar except for 1 ball. Big jump for hybrid, bigger jump for 4-hybrid, and huge change for driver. Swung for the fences with driver and hit them all pretty straight at the end of my session. Several at 111 mph, which is above my normal speed. Finished with chipping release 1 with several clubs.  Good session!
    • Birdied 15 at my home course today and made a birdie the other day at a course I don’t usually play. Will update the spreadsheet once I’m home on my computer.
