Ecco Street Hybrid Golf Shoe

As many of you already know, I've been a big proponent of True Linkswear shoes for awhile now, and while I'm still a fan, due to the lack of support I've had a little discomfort lately, specifically in the right toe area at the end of my swings.  I decided I wanted to go back and try some more "traditional" shoes again.  I've always been a fan of Ecco - I've had their golf shoes in the past and my casual work shoes I wear nearly every day are Eccos as well.

So I decided to give these a try.  I just got them today, so I have nothing to report as far as their on-course function, but I like the feel so far.  Per my usual, there will be a breaking in period where I'll have to wear moleskin on my heels for a few rounds, but I am optimistic now.  Here are a couple of photos of them new:

Gotta get some white laces so I can wear them with something other than blue shirts.

Big toe issues had me go to Ecco about a year ago. Guess I could have placed a thicker insert into the True but that defeats the purpose a bit - depends if a thin one works.

Went with Hybrid 2 and Hybrid 2 GTX - the GoreTex works. Was caught in the rain for aboot 30 minutes. Very comfortable.
