Slow Grind

Not having much actual play this past year aside from lots of backyard practice, I am slowly getting back. Index is going down, putting consistent at around 32 per round, hitting fairways ( 11 out of 18), but coming up short. I am considering moving up a set of tees thinking that perhaps I can more G.I.R.  OTOH, with the change in course rating and slope, not sure if it would change the indices that much. Example: White Tees on one course is 68.3/121  while Forward tees is 66.0/113.  BUT if making more G.I.R converts to one less stroke on those holes; who knows?  I don't know <sigh> its a tough game. Current index is 22.1  up from 18.6 last year.  I am also a year older.....feeling like dog years.

A little progress. Current index is 20.0  (technically only 17.8 because in GHIN the first 6 rounds takes the lowest, then as you have more rounds, the differentials are averaged). I need to keep as low (or lower than) as my last round to overcome one bad round in the mix).
