I arrived at the golf course this am to find a tribute to Arnold Palmer on sports center. The volume was down, but Annika Sorenstam was behind a podium speaking at Arnolds service. I cursed at myself for forgetting today was Tuesday, and not staying home to watch and record the events surrounding today. It then suddenly hit me. Call me crazy, but I could hear Arnie say," go on young man, go swing your swing." It felt like playing golf today was the only choice. I am not a very good golfer. I have broke 90 only a handful of times. Today, I shattered my personal best by five strokes and shot an 83!!! The only birdie was on 10. Tee shot cleared the water but went way right. Ob I thought. I drive up to find it inbounds and proceed to hit my 2nd into the water. To my amazement, it skipped across the water and jumped into the middle of the fairway. I hit my third to ten feet right of the green and chip it in on my next shot for the craziest birdie Ive ever seen. An 83 and a personal best. And all on the day they have Arnie's public service. I feel so many things. You have barely left us, yet, I miss you Mr. Palmer! God speed sir!

Don't feel too bad.  Golf Channel will replay it.  Well worth the watch.  2 hours or so long but very moving.  Just record it and watch it at your leisure.  I saw it live and still recorded it.  Will watch it again.
