How much open should hips & shoulder be at impact?

Hey guys, I'm getting a lesson on the K-Vest next week and I was wondering how open should the hips and shoulders be at impact? Let's say I wanted to zero out my swing direction, what should the numbers show?

It's different for everyone.

PGA Tour average is something like 40° hips and 20-25° shoulders (more across the torso, not across the front of the shoulders, since the lead shoulder is often outward it reduces the number to 10° or so in some cases).

But those are just averages, not necessarily numbers everyone should strive to achieve.

What about torso and hips bending and side bending at impact? I recently got the K-Vest and I'm trying to figure out model numbers and all that for training and teaching.

I'm not a huge fan of model numbers. They're an average. Averages have some value but often not as much as people want to ascribe to them.
