Anyone have any reviews of their putters?

I'm currently putting together a piece meal set based on recs from my local PGA pro and y'all, of course.

Nonetheless, a putter is next on my list. New Pinemewdow putters are approximately $40.00, and the PGX line interests me.

Any reviews?

It's a flat piece of metal on the end of a stick. There's honestly not much to them for a beginner. Just buy one you like, and when you get to the point that you'll want to get fitted for one, you'll know it.

Yeah, what @iacas said.

Go to a store with a big selection and try a bunch of them and pick one you like.  Then if you want an inexpensive clone, buy a similar one from PineMeadow.

For me it was this one: https://www.pinemeadowgolf.com/golf-clubs/putters/site.3

Some day I will get fitted for an Edel.  I quess at that point I will have wasted $40 on a putter I no longer use, no big loss.

I have this one:

PGX Golf Putter

As a putter goes it does the job.  It's pretty heavy even for a mallet so if you don't like the extra weight then look at a different model.  I used it for most of last year, before upgrading to an Odyssey White Ice Teron putter.  If I find myself in a slump I have been known to go back to it, though it's never for long.  The feel off the PGX was a little clickier than more expensive putters, but it still rolled the ball fine.

As others have said, it's just a hunk of metal on the end of a stick.  Find one that feels comfortable and go with it.
