Just bought a used set of clubs from a chap who has been using these for last 3 years.

My son has been coming to the range with me since I started learning, 12-14 weeks ago, and said he was interested in playing so figured I'd get him a set to fit......he's about 1/2 a foot taller than his dad you see?

So this chap said they were ideal first set for someone 5'10"-6'2" and sonny boy is just over 6' so sounded ideal.

Just after confirmation really that these will suit someone starting out on the path of ??

thanks for any confirmation you may or may not be able to offer.

Di9s though an older model are a decent beginner iron set. These are what is considered a game-improvement iron which is good for a beginner. They have a low center of gravity to help get the ball in the air. Their perimeter weighing offers forgiveness on any off-center hits. The only "knocks" I have with them. Are the 3.5° loft increments and the fact that the PW is 42.5°. Not such a big deal with a beginner per se, but as he becomes more consistent, the loft gaps may be too close.

Overall, they are an excellent iron for a beginner. Just my two cents, from a guy whose twenties are gone in five weeks.
