M-Tracer - Meaning of % Release

I bought an Emerson M-tracer.   I am finding the device very helpful in helping me change my golf swing.   I  have made big strides in improving my swing plane and am hitting the ball much more solid.   One of the measures I still have issues with is this thing called % release, which is low.  They say typical men and women pros have values of 40 and 20% respectively.   I am somewhere around 15.9%.   It says it is a measure of the extent one's arms are releasing power.  Can someone better explain this or tell me what I need to do to improve it?

I have no idea. Maybe it means how late the wrists release the lag?
