Marathon Florida golf courses

We'll be spending a week at a rental house in Marathon, FL this April. 

Can anyone help me find a good executive golf course (or two) in the general area where we could play? My father and brother will be playing as well, and last time (Maria Island, FL) we vacationed together I picked a really crappy course and I'm kind of embarrassed by it still. I'd like to take them somewhere nicer.

Any recommendations would be highly appreciated! I know this is sort of limited in terms of area, but if we had to make a drive I don't think anybody would mind. Even Key West is only 1 hour away. That would be perfectly acceptable.

It looks like there's a decent 9-hole par 3 course near us that we'll probably go to as well, but I'd like to play an executive course too.

I would say our budget is $100 ea. If you find anything you'd recommend that more than that let me know, I may play on my own one day and if the course is worth it I wouldn't mind playing by myself. But I won't tell my father how much it is because he'd kill me :)
