5. Ian Baker-Finch - he won the Open right?

Yep, Ian Baker Finch is definitely up there. Also, thrown in Paul Lawrie, winner of the 1999 British Open. I don't believe he has done much since. I wouldn't even say that he really won that British Open, Jean Van de Velde lost it. :/

I think Baker Finch won other tournaments (not majors though). So I would have to go with

Lawrie, Micheel, and Curtis as the top three for now.

went with 5. Tom Kite 4. Tom Lehman 3. Fred Couples 2. Davis Love III 1. Phil Mickelson I really don't consider Tom Weiskopf a "current" player, and I stuck with somewhat current players in making the list.

Nice article. I understand about Weiskopf. He was one of those players I watched growing up. If Nicklaus couldn't win, I wanted Tom. He had a beautiful swing but couldn't handle the mind game.
