I am trying out for my high school golf team. I have a pretty good set of clubs they are  McGregor's I like them. I don't have a driver but everybody else seems to. Can anyone recommend a good but inexpensive driver? If I get on the golf team then I will pay the money for a really good set of golf clubs.   Thank you.

Hello and welcome.  It would be helpful to know what your current set consists of.

Welcome to TST.   

Where are you located?   Is there a golf shop near you that might have used clubs and let you swing a few?  It's difficult to even guess what driver is right for you.

If you are really interested in golf, make a partnership with a good local golf shop. They can help you find a driver, and take notes on your swing for future upgrades. Ask friends who golf to recommend a good local shop.
