Make % of a Putt on TV - Tour or Per Player?

Looked for a BMW thread, and not finding one decided to start this here.This should be a short-lived one. 

When the pros are on the green, putting, and the graphics show the length of the putt and the "make percentage", does that percentage pertain to that particular golfer or the Tour average? Anybody out there know?

PGA Tour average.

If it was per player you'd have too small a sample size to have a relevant result. They often tell you to the inch. The pro may be hitting his first putt from 33'7" that season.

I noticed that. The numbers are very precise! That's part of the reason I wondered. Guess that's the "Shotlink Effect".

That's what happens when you divide one integer by another.

113/473 is 23.89%. And that's rounded a little, too.

Yeah, it probably goes at least 10 places further right of the decimal point than what you're reporting. Well, I tried it on my cell phone calculator and the phone only went to 8 places, so I suspect my original estimate was pretty good. Didn't see a zero or any repeating patterns in there.
