Day 63: went to the range and worked on my priority piece and filmed for about 40 minutes. Made some decent progress I think. Still more to come though. Also putted for a bit, working in that 3-9 foot range.

    • I'm exactly in the same train as you. Short putting is the worst of my game, is all about starting line and mine is pretty bad. I have really good lagging so speed is not the issue. Work at your home with your putt and try to hit a coin from 3,6,9 feet. Over and over again. If that is not the issue, then you probably are miss reading putts and you need to start giving them more break.  I also struggle with partial wedges, my scoring average from 50-75 is worst than 75-100 so I tend to lay up to the 100 mark if I don't reach the green.
    • This happened to me once. Hit 6i on a par 3 tee shot and the head went flying 30 yards towards the green. Hit the shot to 10’ though so it was more hilarious than embarrassing. I played with a friend once who replaced his own driver shaft. On the second hole he teed off and the head flew farther than his ball. We like to remind him of that once in a while 😜
    • Yep, that has happened to me twice. Once with a wedge hitting of a mat another hitting a 2nd shot into a par 5 with a 6 iron. Both times the head of the club went like 25 to 50 yards down range.
    • It is - I occasionally swing just a shaft to see what it's like. You can swing it seriously quickly, but it's like it has a mind of its own.
    • I understand the physics of it. 😛 I'm just saying it's funny looking (and feeling, the two times it's happened to me, ever).
