Day 54 - 2024-11-23

HackMotion work after Junior Elite this morning and before a lesson.

Day 129: went to the driving range with my daughter. Worked on alignment and backswing stuff. Then putted for about 10 minutes before she got bored.

Day 55 - 2024-11-24

Did five levels of Operation 36 on GSPro (different courses). 🙂 Was -4 from 200 yards (32) intentionally laying up on each hole (i.e. not hitting a 5I or something). Shot… 22, 24, 26 from 25, 50, and 100 yards. I forget my 150-yard score, but obviously it was < 36. Putting was odd… (and I did it with the wedge or a 7I or whatever was in my hand).

Day 206 (24 Nov 24)  - An easy session with the 54deg wedge and hard foam balls / one simple goal - distance control thru backswing length while not decelerating.  Had a playing partner comment they noticed me decelerating on a couple short wedge shots in last round.  Hit from distances from close to 40yds down to 20.

Day 130: did a stack session.

Day 314 - Putting some things together. Better grip/setup, fuller backswing, better finishing position. Filmed some swings, happy with the progress.

Day 56 - 2024-11-25

Did the BAD Challenge and hit a bunch more other little shots. This was one of the closer shots.

Day 207 (25 Nov 24) - 9i fun in the backyard working on setup, alignment, tempo, ball position and foot position.  Hit a few hard foam balls - getting some good dispersion (well except for a couple of hosel rockets / still happy that I was able to correct rather than amplify).

Day 131: another extremely busy day. Just putted on my mat for a bit after work.

Day 315 - Full swings, focused on a full backswing and a high finish, hips towards the target.

Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.

Day 132: did some mirror work while watching TV. Worked on backswing stuff primarily.

Day 316 - More swings, full backswing and full finish.

Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.

Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.

Day 317 - More full swings into a net with foam balls. Full backswing was the focus.

Day 59 - 2024-11-28

Happy 🦃. Went downtown this morning before our traditional dinner at Cracker Barrel (more like lunch at 11:30 this year) for about three hours. Got a lot of backswing work in. Also tried Riverwalk Challenges on GSPro.
