Recently picked up a Geek Golf Dot-Com THIS driver. They seem to get good reviews. I hit it 3 or 4 times and the entire crown came off the club in one piece, no damage to face. Has this happened to anyone else?

May I ask what STS stands for in your handle?

I was asking because STS in the Navy stands for Sonar Technician Submarines which I was. So we don't have that in common, but we do have golf in common.

Thanks for the reply, Jeff

I've had a few Geek Drivers...Fail Safe, DCT.  I have a DCT 551 still in plastic as a matter of fact.  Never had an issue with one.

Did u buy it used ?

It was bought off eBay. Nice looking club when I got it. No visible damage. Was thinking of sending it back to Monark but I don't know if they would do anything or not.
