New Driver, loss of distance - Need ideas

So here is my situation. I was playing a Ping G25 with a tour x-stiff shaft and 10.5 loft.  It was about 5 years old and about 2 weeks ago, it snapped due to a bad swing.  Being that it was 5 years old, I opted to check out something different.  I went to a place that does club fitting and I registered a swing speed between 99 and 111 mph with an average being about 106 mph so a move down to a stiff shaft was recommended.  After trying a Ping G400, Callway Rogue Sub Zero, a Titleist 917 D3 (I believe) and a Taylormade M2, I decided to take the Taylormade.  I hit all of the clubs pretty similarly with the exception of the Titleist.  I chose the Taylormade because I seemed to have a lower spin rate and the ball flight was more consistent.   The problem is, I'm consistently hitting this driver 25-50 yards shorter than my previous driver. I am keeping it in the fairway, but I had no real trouble with that before.  Does anyone have thoughts regarding the loss of distance?

Unfortunately you don't have the old driver to compare on the same launch monitor you were using at the time.

But obviously something is different:

• You're spinning it too much or too little.
• You're launching it too high or too low.
• You're mis-hitting it more (lower ball speed).
• You're not swinging it as fast (again lower ball speed).

That's about it. Driver fitting isn't too complicated: there is a small range of "optimal" type numbers, and that's it.

You didn't share any actual information except your clubhead speed. What were the launch angles, ball speeds, smash factors, spin rates, etc. that you were seeing? Peak heights, carry yardages…?

Think I got it figured out today.  Definitely was me and not the club.  Arms and hips not working together and I believe I just needed a little more time to get comfortable with a new club.

Why couldn't you just re-shaft the old clubhead with an OEM shaft?

I don't mean to hi-jack the thread, Iacas, but what causes the ball to spin too much ? Generally speaking.

I ask because I checked out a golf simulator this past weekend in my area and was told that my golf ball was spinning too much. I believe it was at the 6000 mark. I don't remember any more stats than that, other than my club speed being about 103 mph.
