Hello All,

I've been lurking the forums for the past couple of months and have decided to join. I'm in San Diego with my home course being Torrey Pines North (I have yet to play the South). I currently shoot in the mid 90's. My score plateaued, so I recently signed up for some swing lessons over at GolfTec. In hind sight, I should have signed up for lessons much earlier!  My goal by the end of the year is to consistently shoot in the mid 80's.

Looking forward to participating in these forums. I know there is a wealth of knowledge here so I'm excited about that.

Welcome. Sadly I live two miles away from SD city boundary so I miss out on Torrey’s reasonable rates you get

Thanks for the warm welcome! That is a bummer being just outside the city limits. It really is a great deal with the resident card. I have a couple of friends who moved from SD to Encinitas and now miss out on the discounted rates.

Welcome to TST.  Maybe we'll catch you at a future So Cal outing?  We do see a few folks from SD at some of these.  Though with what you get at Torrey I can't imagine you're too eager to travel ;-)

Thank you. I'll have to keep a watch for the So Cal outings. Torrey is nice, but it's always fun to try new courses and meet new people. 👍
