I finally took the plunge and decided to purchase some hybrids. Reason being is that I have moved back to the back tees on all the courses and have been coming up short on long par fours. A friend suggested that I no longer be stubborn and take the plunge. I did and purchased two hybrids: a 1H and 2H Cobra Baffler Pro Utility Series. I hit both really well on the launch monitor but have not taken them out to the course, yet. Therefore, I have some questions:

Does anyone have these? If so, how do you like them? Are you able to work them? Get good control?

I did a search about these hybrids both in the Review section and Golf Equipment section but came up empty. If there is already a listing, please feel free to delete this.

The reviews I have read on these are good... GOLF magazine and Golf Digest. My wife just got two of them... she loves them, but she does not work the ball and does not hit the same type shots as a man would. I do know that they get good review from everything I have read though... as long as you hit them well that's all that matters.

I just got the Adams Idea Pro hybrids... and they are he most workable hybrids I have hit (used to have Nike CPR's - small ones). I think the keys to a hybrid being workable are as follows...

-mid to high kick point shaft
-flat as opposed to round face
-fairly small size wise
-a square to open face
-no offeset

*my Adams is all of these

my wife's baffler looks to be a touch closed, slightly rounded face, and is mid-size... so I think if the men's are similar they would be workable, but not necessarily the MOST workable clubs
