Golfer's toe

Anyone have golfer's toe, pain in the big toe on the rear foot. Apparently fairly common. What worked best to get rid of it, short of getting rid of the clubs. Orthotics don't seem to help much since the pain is forward in the first toe joint.

you might have gout... it often settles in the toe or other joints... can range from mildly annoying to very painful... look it up on webmd.

if you are talking about when you follow through and it hurts to put wait on your toe, I just ease up on my swing and helps my balance so I don't cram my toe into the ground.

That "golfer's toe" happens to me, also. I don't have a cure. I thought about taping my toes to provide a little more stability and support, but haven't.

My son, who is 15, complained about his toe the other day. Hereditary?
