8802 Style Putters

So no real info on this club? I have seen others with the same markings and shaft bands on the bay but no one knows the brand

The wilson 8862 is like the 8802 but milled with an aluminum face insert. I have had it a number of years now and love it.

The Pro Only is the name of the Golfpride grip. I think they make them. The GC is probably for Golfcraft

What i found out is it was made by M&R out of Japan in the 70's. They were sold in department stores and on the lower end. From what i have found out this company rarely put their name on clubs. Regardless i only gave $5

I love that style of putter. I have putted with one most of my life. Tom Slighter used to offer one, but I don't see it on his website; you might contact him. Start cruising Goodwill and other thrifts, and you will eventually come across a good example.
