  1. I would look into reshafting before I bought a brand new one... ...or you can always look on ebay.
  2. I gave up all hope in the NBA a long time ago. I watched the draft to see where some of my (least) favorite college players ended up. D.J. White going in the first round? Ha!
  3. Glad I could introduce you to useless internet lingo Anyway, thread-jack over
  4. Quoted For Truth
  5. QFT I won't believe it until someone can confirm the $36,000 was paid in full
  6. Why has no one said the x-factors?!?!? Jack Hamm uses them!!!!! brief off topic: this photo was titled "web sight photo" Anywho, my real answer is callaway x-forged
  7. Agreed. IMO 60* wedges are not often necessary, but I understand that I'm not the one in question here. If you find your LW is neccesary, I agree that the 3i or 5w is the thing to go.Try playing rounds without one or the other and see what works best for you.
  8. "No. no. That's it, you've seen enough of that one." Spinal Tap FTW

    John Daly?

Personally, I'd rather have a Rocco Mediate representing me.
  10. source? I have to say that if anyone can, he will.

    Good Stuff

Agreed. Made me proud to be a golf fan.
  12. http://www.xfactordirect.com/wedges.htm "Dr. Knockdown 80° Wedge - The first 80-degree Wedge This is the club missing from everybody's golf bag. This will help any golfer lower their score. It's 80-degrees design lets you cut under the ball from any lie and hit high lobs to go right for the flag. Use it from 30 yards in and save 5 strokes per round. " Maybe they literally mean that it is missing from everybody's golf bag
  13. I googled this and found out: "The Center for Disease Control made a report to Congress stating that cars parked in direct sunlight can reach internal temperatures of up to 131F - 172F when the outside temperatures are only 80F - 100F." http://cms.firehouse.com/web/online/University-of-Extrication/The-Physiological-Effects-of-Heat-Inside-a-Locked-Vehicle/19$764 It was rather hasty research, so don't hold me to it
  14. Seriously, for me its 85* or nothin'
  15. Wonderful link I am no longer amongst the unknowing/less-informed golfers previously mentioned.
  16. Well, it is taking place at Purdue, where I am currently a student, so I really hope to be able to drive up and catch a round. I follow Purdue's golf in the campus newspaper, but as far as I know, they do not seem to be very good. I really wish it was on TV to catch a glimpse of the beautiful Pete Dye that we have....
  17. According to wikipedia, it'd be a "Vulture". Equivalent of a Hole-In-1 on a par 5.... I could've sworn I looked this up a month or so ago and it was called a "Condor"....oh wells, its wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golf#Scoring OK, I found a site with it listed as condor. But then again, this site also has bird names listed through 15 OVER par, so I'm questioning the credibility... http://www.anyonefortee.com/Scoring/Birds.html
  18. It gets you Ego Waffles?!?!
  19. When I was in early high school, I was a big dropkick murphys fan (dkm), and the 978 doesnt really stand for anything. Even though I'm not as big a fan as I once was, its a good screenname due to abiguity.

    Natalie Gulbis

    1. oooooooooooollllllldddd thread 2. this thread could use an "NSFW"
  21. Even if it is not completely biased, I'm still not sure how great it will end up being. Time will tell.
  22. I've always wondered how people with a chin putter carry them in their bag. Wouldn't that thing look a bit ridiculous sticking out of a bag?? Same question from earlier about travel applies as well.
  23. Won't the whole "seeding" business make it somewhat more possible for someone else to win? Seeing as how he will only be leading the 2nd place person by 1,000 going into the playoffs? From wikipedia: After the Wyndham Championship, points for all eligible players are reset. With this scale, the first place regular season points leader will get 100,000 points, second place will receive 99,000, and then a sliding scale through 144th place receiving 84,700 points. The top 144 players will advance to the playoffs. The points on the reset scale will carry over into the playoffs. This is the equivalent of "seeding" as players who have performed better during the regular season will more likely advance past the first tournament in the playoffs.
  24. The whole point system instead of just using the money list seems kind of useless, but the whole playoff aspect (and 10M prize) should prove interesting.
  25. I was thinking something very similar while watching the highlights. Seems as if she slept through her alarm and had to go immeadiately to the course that morning or something.
