  1. A 40 on a par 32.. had no 6's on the score card.. 17 puts. It seemed like i was topping about 50% of my shots.. luckily my wedges made up for my iffy shots
  2. If they are your favorite ball and got discontinued, I'd suggest stocking up on them off of ebay while you still can
  3. I'm so siked I was able to go today.. It was 62 degrees, but its supposed to snow tomorrow . Anyways, I'm just glad I was able to get a round in I shot a 38 on a par 32 course
  4. a nike sasquatch bag, after my taylor made bag broke :(
  5. Most likely I'm going to go get a mallet today.. still undecided on which one to get, though.
  6. my 9-iron.. i love hitting it, it's been the only club which has set me up for my staggering 3 birdies
  7. I have both a Nike and Callaway.. the Callaway is great for bump and runs, and I use the Nike primarily for anything
  8. Nike One platinums.. got a new dozen of them for xmas :)
  9. You cant go wrong w/ the ball all the pros use, and the Nike Ones are awesome golf balls
  10. http://thesandtrap.com/forum/showthr...6082#post56082 Yep, going about 20 or 30 rounds this summer, on a par 32 course I shot a 39 with one birdy, and no doubles. I know it probably doesnt count to some of you, but I'm still happy :)
  11. What's the latest club you added to your bag? Here's mine Except a 50 degree. Hit it for hte first time on the range today, and it actually goes a lot higher than my SW
  12. Mine isn't, but the one I'd like to get next year is... what does it mean to be confirming? Is it not allowed?
  13. The slingshot is the best club im my bag IMO. It's very forgiving, I can hit it about 180-190 not even warmed up yet. I have a 2H which I believe is a 17 degree hybrid. Definatly give it a shot!
  14. Yeah, you're basically putting your hands more toward your front foot, correct?
  15. I've got a brand new hybrid i got on saturday night.. one of the best clubs in my bag thus far IMO. I also have a 5 and 7 wood to give me more options off the tee.
  16. What ever you do, don't get a 'full set.' Gradually replace your irons, followed by say a 3 wood, 5 wood, etc. The order doesn't matter, just make sure you get some nice clubs, as opposed to some $140 p/ full set down at golfsmith. You get what you pay for with golf clubs.
  17. nah.. we dont have reviews on all clubs http://thesandtrap.com/category/equipment/clubs theres the list of them, though.
  18. That can happen very easily. A few shanks in a row, or hit out of bounds off the tee, and you're already 3 and not even in the fairway yet.
  19. Sorry, but counting all your shots... no you didnt.
  20. To me, the long range of the game is more important to me. If it takes you 10 shots to get to a par 5 green, it doesnt matter how good your putting is because your score isn't going to look good on the score card
  21. reggiebushfan holla.. i have just about any game you have
  22. What golf4life said, you get what you pay for. I got my Cleveland Irons for $200 off ebay. They're a great price for them IMO, and havent had any problems with them at all. Before you buy the cheap immiatations built in some town in china you've never heard of, at least look for some better options.
  23. Shot a 35 for 9 holes on a par 32 course. My best round ever.. had my 2nd birdy in 2 days [2nd ever, too]. My last 5 holes I was shooting par :) I think thats pretty good for about 3 or 4 months, isn't it?
  24. Cheers! I broke 80 for the first time on a par 64. Shot a 79, and like you, got my first birdy too! Mine, like yours again, ended up about 3 inches away from a 120 yard 9 iron.
