  1. you broke 100 before you got your first birdie? dang..
  2. Hey I'm from Venezuela also, but I haven't been back since 2002 during the World Cup. I was born there and lived there for 11 years, now I've lived in the U.S for a couple of years. I've heard of the Lagunita Country Club and others, but when I lived in Venezuela I lived in La Guaira (Vargas) and lived on Caraballeda Golf and Yatch Club. I lived right in the golf course, but I never played golf back in those days. I would love to go back and play golf though. :P
  3. Looks like I'm going to be playing Hombre for sure, since it's about a minute from the resort I'll be staying at, and perhaps I will also play the Nicklaus Course, but it's about 16 minutes away. By the way, I'm going in early October now.
  4. Conditioning - I can't stand a golf course being in bad condition Uniqueness of holes History - I like playing a golf course knowing that when I step on the green, I'm steping on the same green that a legend steped on. Challenge - Obviously a bit important Strategically-placed traps/obstacles Length

    Do you dip?

I've never smoked or dipped, and I probably never will. I don't care how "cool" I will become if I do it. I'm in my last year of high school btw. So I've gotten through 4 years without even wanting to try it. It doesn't bother me..
  6. I wanted to go real bad, and still kind of do, but paying $84 for a ticket is kind of expensive...
  7. I drove a 286yd par 4 green with my 3 wood the other day, but it was barely on the green. I three putted for par.....
  8. I don't see how by just counting them would really help your score. I should start counting them, and that way I can keep track of how I'm improving.
  9. I would just stay in one place.
  10. 141.158.212.135 is around Washington, DC
  11. Aren't you allowed to carry them as an extra package or w/e? Like they sell those travel bags.
  12. Hey GitRDone where do you live, wanna play a round sometime soon? Maybe you can teach me some things, or I can just watch you work your magic.
  13. I think you counted 8 because you totally messed up on the 9th just my opinion
  14. for me since I go to school I find a lot of people that way, that's how I found a friend who gets me into tpc sugarloaf for free pretty much everyday : )
  15. I'm offended by them... lol but seriously how is this going to offend anyone? Nice pictures man!
  16. http://www.tpcsugarloaf.com
  17. I played TPC Sugarloaf yesterday, probably the best one I've ever played. Service was soo nice... I love the looks of the bunkers, but hate to land in them. First time I ever go to a course good enough for them to have balls set up in pyramids in the range. hehe
  18. I hit a three wood about 293-300 one time, but that barely ever happens for me...
  19. and how do you guys calculate greens in regulation? Do you have to be a certain distance away for it to count? Because I can just go little by little and I'll probably hit the green with my SW, does that count?
  20. That's an awesome price, it should be pretty hot, but it looks like an awesome course. I would do it.
  21. I don't know anything about golf at Myrtle Beach, but it sounds like you'll have a blast with your brother. Good luck!
  22. Peachtree HS, I'm not good enough to be on the golf team, but even if I was, I wouln't be able to because it's during spring :/ but yeah I've heard of a lot of guys out of chatsworth, seems like a really good High School
  23. I try to go to the gym 3-5 times a week, lift weights, and run a couple of miles each time. I then relax at the jacuzzi for 10-15 minutes and go swimming for about 30 minutes. It's good to go from hot to cold water. I also do a bit of abwork at home. In addition to that I play baseball for my high school, so I have condition and all that stuff when baseball season gets nearby.
  24. that green looks beautiful....
  25. try to hit the practice green tomorrow before the tryouts for a bit, or practice on your home carpet, seems like you need a bit of work to stop those three putts.
