  1. I have one around where I live and I love it. It's great to have an alternative when it gets cold here.
  2. Why do we even need this topic? I use both. No option for that.

    Trivia Time!

    Easy. Bob Vokey.
  4. J.P Bouffard was on the panel. Any thoughts?
  5. You know it :) Damn, I wish I had more motivation...
  6. Get a HALO hybrid. Or a hybrid of there's for a matter.
  7. Me personally: I like Zach Johnson's swing. I don't know why, but it just seems to work really well and he has great tempo (IMHO). Tiger's swing is quite fluid along with Freddy's.
  8. Take a look at the Nike Slingshots and Callaway Big Bertha's. Great clubs.
  9. I am a much better long player then a short player, although my pitches save me if I get in trouble.
  10. Dropped from a 15.0 to an 8.8. Success!
  11. Coming into on the back nine yesterday, I was +8 (44). I hadn't hit any greens but one and my iron play was terrible. I calmed down, ate some lunch, and went back out. I shoot 37 (+1), hit 8 of 9 greens, and three putt for my bogey. I was completely in the zone and it felt great. I was supremely confident. Now if only I could do that all of the time.

    Mini Tour Play

    Very nice Ben, congrats!
  13. Went 81 today at BCC (44-37). Played a very dissapointing front nine, missing just about every green since my irons were all over the place. Come back on the back, hit 8 of 9 greens and almost every fairway. Lipped out 2 birdie putts and 3 jacked the hardest hole on the back :/ Still a good round :)
  14. 13. Need a hybrid.
  15. That was a great article. I enjoyed reading that.

    Mini Tour Play

AJGA isn't too large around my region; we get one or two tournaments a year around where I live. The Plantation Tour isn't big here either, but I need some tournament practice, and there is two of them, so that's what I play in.
  17. Except they are super expensive :)
  18. I shot a pretty crapping 43 for me. I hit about every iron shot crappy, but my drives and putting were solid. Last hole (par 5) I drive into the right rough. I set up to layup with my second shot, so I attempt a 5-iron out of the rough. Hook that, leave me 165 in the deep stuff to a tucked pin spot on the back tier of the green. I hit that to 10 feet. Overjoyed. 2-putted for par.
  19. Those are from a beginner set that my dad has. I don't have any good fairway woods, and I'm considering dropping them all together and getting strong hybrids. I'll look into the Feel wedges.
  20. Every match we get a sleeve. I typically use one of them a match. We get to keep them after. Plus I got some from my neighboor, so I was set this year. I want a cheap club that can give just as good results as name-brands. Whether or not that is possible is the question.
  21. "since as a 14yr old." :) I get the V1's from my school's golf team. We get them before every match. The only clones I'm looking for are wedges and maybe fairway woods. Not irons.
  22. I think he'll go on to win ATLEAST 3 majors. He's that good and is only 18. He's got plenty of time to hone his game.

    Mini Tour Play

For any junior on here; pjgt.org (Plantations Junior Golf Tour) runs a great junior tour. Playing in two of those in late December.
  24. The 907D2 is a great driver, awesome feel.
  25. Too expensive... :)
