Put it this way, if I had to play golf with them I'd have to leave a few @ home to stay under the club limit.......

I use my 3w off 1, 3, 10, 12, & 13 @ my regular course. You CAN hit driver on all of them, but there's definately more trouble if you miss w/ driver so I choose the safe route. I normally tee it up 3/4-1" when using the 3 or 5w off the tee.

78 w/ 2 doubles .......40-38 - 57%F 50%GIR 30Putts. I was 75% UD or 6/8 today.

Actually I normally play better from the back tees. 3-4 strokes. White 6100 Blue 6500. My particular course just set-up so much better from the back for me.

We have a written budget for EVERYTHING. Know where every penny is going. Only pay cash. My budget for golf is $125.00/mo or $1500.00/yr. I bought a membership @ the local public for $625, and took a 5 day trip to Gulfport, MS for $600.00 and that leaves $275 for clubs/balls/etc.

Yes, but I'd prefer a full-choke. We actually do this, and like David said, it's like shooting low 7 is skeet.

The ball is the only piece of equipment you use on EVERY shot. Given that fact, how much does it matter?

We were discussing this the other night and I thought it would make a good poll here. The question was "Do you play up to the level of your group when playing with better players?" or "Do you play down to the level of your group when you are the best player?" The consensus was "no" everyone thought they played there own game regardless of the skill level of their group. However I know this to be untrue for at least a couple people I play with regularly. "Bob" says he plays his game, but then cards a couple snowmen and has a "horrible" round when playing with higher handicappers. Pair him next week with a couple single digits and he has a great (for him) round.

Didn't really get it going today till 14........46 on the front w/ 2 water balls and just an all around struggle. 40 on the back w/ 4 straight pars to finish. Left par put short on 14 and birdie putt on 17 the same 1 roll from going in. Mama told me there would be days like this..........
