  1. Top Flite D2 (Distance)
  2. I agree, my Wife bought me a box of the D2 Distance for Fathers Day from the kids and I've enjoyed them alot....imo I won't get anything other then the TF now, for cost reasons and useability reasons too....
  3. I use a old tooth brush that's hard as a rock and spit on the club and brush the club like that..... works for me in my bag the the key items: Clubs Tees Balls Towels (for cleaning & 1 for sweaty days) no glove (I don't wear 1) tooth brush (as above mentioned) my car keys wallet and the cell phone
  4. shooting a 71 would be happiness for me.....no matter what time of the day it was......LOL.... sounds nice, great job.....I'm jealous...bragger.....LOL
  5. for the life of me I don't understand his approach going into the 18th tee w/a 1 shot lead (just after a birdie on 17) I'm the last guy to tell Phil what he should/should not do, but didn't he realize Par was going to win him the tourney? I mean that french guy in all respect wasn't going to birdie the hole.....sometimes I feel Phils mental approach to the game is what seperates him from being an elite player (Tiger status) from just what he is, a very very good player.....
  6. wow, that sounds pretty
  7. I know from personal experience that when I started I used the old fashion baseball grip, my main goal was and still is just making good contact (club to ball).....don't worry about distance right away, that will come with time. I would suggest that you play some Par3 courses alot, or if you have them smaller courses in your area just to get comfortable with your swing. Also, if you'd like take a lesson or 2, it actually does work. I hope this little pointers can help, but the main thing I can tell you is, have fun, and stick with it, you will get better with playing more. Have fun....
  8. NO I haven't played RP in about 5-6 yrs now, I used to play in a Golf League through a previous employer there on Wednesday Nights (just the 1st 9 holes) it was nice then. Sounds like they have done alot of improvements to what was already a nice course. If you ever get the chance, you have to play Compass Pointe, just over the Key Bridge, down Fort Smallwood Rd, awesome course, slighty pricey but well worth it, it's a 27 hole layout....
  9. I just recently purchased the (same as you) Cleveland Launcher, I still have my Wilson Pro Staff Driver though in the bag, I'm having no success with consistant control with the Launcher right now....I know I need to just hit the range more with it.

  12. hey thumper, where abouts in Bmore? grew up in Pasadena until 4 yrs ago, moved up to PA where I currently reside now. I've played Carroll Park, Diamond Ridge, The Woodlands, Longview, Rocky Point, and just last week the newer course down in Pasadena Compass Pointe. Nice to see someone close by.
  13. I average once a week, but there are those times when I get out twice a week, good thing is my schedule, I work alot of 2nd and 3rd shift so I manage to go out during the week and avoid the weekend traffic on the course ....
  14. I agree
