hello, you may want to substitute the 2 and 3 irons for hybrids as they are quite a bit easier to hit and get up in the air. other than that, your choices sound great! good luck on your game!

About a month or so ago, I had an awful slice, which with a lot of hard work, I corrected to a small fade. I went from shooting mid 100's to low 90's in around a month. I really started to get confident about my ball striking, but today, everything I hit with my driver (and most shots with other clubs) was absolutely dreadful. With the driver, the ball would either travel 6 ft off the ground, or as high as a perfect lob wedge. Nothing was straight either. Not only a re-appearing Extreme slice but extreme hooks too. I got pretty frustrated, and don't know why this is happening.

For better players (not me ) I've heard up to 20 yards.

I'm a high capper, and love my vokey! Looking for a 58 or 60 to go along with it. Got mine on ebay 9/10 condition for 40 bucks!

I'm 1" shorter and 25 lbs. lighter than you are and I know that steel is fine in my irons, but i'd rather graphite for the driver and woods. As far as what clubs you should look into, I would reccomend a driver with a high loft (10.5 or higher), and over-size "game improvement" irons.

I'm also 16, and just bought my first clubs. I bought all of my stuff on ebay, and got some really great deals. driver was around 80 bucks irons were around 160 wedge was 40 bucks You should check out some of the auctions too.
