  1. 21 degree hybrid or 3/4 swing 5 wood.
  2. I play alone quite a bit in the Spring. During the summer, it's a little harder to avoid getting paired up..... .....I went on Friday and got paired up with a couple people who rolled 4 blunts over 9 holes, no shit. They were like Cheech and Chong on steroids. Had to of been the oddest round of the year. They didn't make the turn, but I did.
  3. Whenever I hit the range, I warm up for an hour on the chipping green. Lately, trying to bust out of this slump, I've been going 3 times a week.
  4. I'm a digger......
  5. Nevermind, somehow, I didn't see where the target was. I assumed (I know, I know) that the target was the top of my monitor.
  6. Shouldn't they be, for a righty, like this? Am I missing something? Target
  7. That's a great tip, thanks!!!!
  8. I will only use natural wood colored tees.....
  9. No doubt, I always tell myself I will make the putt........but I'm starting to believe "myself" is deaf.
  10. It just seems like a bad idea to me, to add an unneccesary movement to the putting stroke. I'd never thought about offset putters though....
  11. Pretty interesting stuff Leek, I've always been in the dark when it comes to handicapps and course rating etc, and how they are calculated. I'm playing in my first match play tourney next week, should be a lot of fun.
  12. I believe you're missing my point as well. Like you, I try and make everything. Doesn't matter if it's a 3 tierd 80 footer or a flat 3 footer, I'm going for the hole. My point is, the majority of golfers are not on the tour and shouldn't put so much pressure on themselves by thinking they have to make this birdie putt or else their score will suck. Most people here seem to be mid to high handicappers. How many of us have ever shot an even round? Really, try and get pars and the birdies will come....
  13. Sort of, but you'll still make plenty of birdies. Telling yourself you have to make the putt or else, makes most people miss because they're thinking too much. Just relax and know that par's aren't bad.
  14. Well, an extra chip around each green adds 18 strokes. Add in a couple of extra putts here and there, and you hit that 25 number pretty quickly.....
  15. I'll agree with Harvey Pennicks Little Red Book, and add Who's Your Caddy by Rick Reilly. Funny, funny book......especially the chapter about John Daly.
  16. Yep, I signed up yesterday and had to solve that same problem before it got out of hand......
  17. I'm in a slump right now, and it seems I have one every summer. I don't mind though, because I always come out of slumps, a better player. It forces me to hit the range and work on my game.
  18. I guess so. But I'd rather have an end of the season tournament, with only the players who have won a PGA Tour event. I just can't get excited about a points race.
  19. Check the friends you were with, it's one of the classic golf pranks. But usually, no one gets hurt (your poor driver).
  20. I just tell myself, if I miss, it's not that big of a deal, I'll still make par, and par is always good.
  21. The point system is useless. So Tiger's number one, by a long shot. Say he gets 2,3,5, and 6 in the final four tourneys. I believe, and I could be wrong, as long as those 4 tourneys each have a different winner, he would win the Cup. Is anyone gonna care? I highly doubt it..........people care about who actually wins the tournaments, not some fabricated points race.
  22. Easy.........I'd take Anna any day. Natalie has a man chin.
  23. Not much help, but I'd like to pick up the Titleist one of these days.
  24. Buy yourself a red sharpie.......
  25. LOL, Anytime........I thought maybe that's what you were when you signed up and never changed it. I wouldn't qualify that as high since I'm in the same boat.
