  1. I would recommend posting a video on here or giving evolvr a try.
  2. I would agree with open face. If you can get more axis tilt this should help you shallow out the plane.
  3. Not all golf instruction is equal. I would make the drive. That's just me though.
  4. Exactly, poser, it may look like full roll, but it is not. It looks like full roll because the club is swung on an incline plane.
  5. I could argue more power...
  6. I have a Casio EX-FH 100. No complaints.
  7. Sounds like key #1 and key #2. http://thesandtrap.com/t/55426/introducing-five-simple-keys
  8. Weight forward, hands forward
  9. Hold your right wrist bend
  10. I heard from a certain someone that keeping a depth perception constant is the most important thing in the golf swing.
  11. I am by no means saying that there is no such thing as bad mental game, because there is such a thing. IMO many times someones "mental game" can be greatly improved from proper preparation. Hardly anyone prepares properly and then they blame it on there mental game.
  12. I agree that you have no control of what the player will do outside of his or her lessons and they may have an off day. With that said, I teach a fairly high volume of lessons and I don't know of anyone who has a steady head and at least 80% of their weight forward at impact that doesn't AT LEAST break 100.
  13. Fix grip first That will make fixing club face easier Then after club face is square It will be easier to get handle forward and weight forward
  14. A narrower stance makes it easier to move hips forward due to less distance to travel and easier to rotate hips. Wider stance requires a larger move forward. Neither is right or wrong. Both have their benefits.
  15. I wear these almost daily. They are lighter than conventional golf shoes.
  16. Bad news Weak grip Open Club Face Throwing the club from the top (regardless what Brandel says) Weight not forward Good news It can be fixed and you are capable of hitting it much further then 175 yds!!! The best advice I can give though is if it doesn't feel awkward at first you might not be doing anything different. So practice really SLOW swings so the reps are quality. So your progress is measurable, use mirrors, reflection in windows, and video so you know if your "feel" is real or not in your changes. Best of luck!
  17. Works now. I stand by my earlier recommendations. Definitely need more weight forward and handle further forward. I have a couple things to add though. Hard for me to say this with "certainty", but your attachment (grip) looks weak. The face on camera angle wasn't aligned perfectly so I can't say that for sure, but it appears weak. Then from dtl your clubface is open at p4 (top of swing). Summary: Weak grip Open Club Face Throwing the club from the top (regardless what Brandel says) Weight not forward ... All of those equal not very much power. Hope this helps...
  18. Post a video of your swing if you get a chance
  19. The DVD is extremely bland. I own it and was incredibly disappointed. Foley definitely learned from Mike and Andy Mike Andy and Foley both learned from Mac As far how much someone learns from another I see that to be extremely difficult to measure. Even for myself, it would be impossible for me to quantify how much I learned from another
  20. Yes every club. With the driver make sure the ball position is further forward, that will help shallow out your AoA. When moving weight forward to lead leg, make sure head is still between both feet so you create axis tilt.
  21. Looking forward to see how things play out tomorrow...
  22. This should help a lot
