I actually do try to keep my legs still, I think I lack flexibility and I end up turning without even realising it.

Managed to get a ZX1 on ebay for way below retail, so more than happy with that to record my swing on for now. The more expensive, slow cameras can be purchased at a later date.

Bumping this up... I'm going to buy one of these this month, the wages finally cover it. Are the FS10 and the FC-100 good enough for the amateur photographer as I don't have a digital camera and need one. I've seen the videos of the FS10 in slowmo. Mind blowing stuff but is the FC-100 worth getting ahead of the FS10?

I see what you mean, I'll have to work on that. I'm going to try and get to the range at least twice a week and get to the course at least once. Those videos were just taken for entertainment sake as opposed to for recording my swing. In future it'll be a stationary camera.

Just chucking that is as my chipping is an aspect I think I'm really getting good at. Consistently getting distances I trust since I stopped taking the more exotic looking aerial route with every close in approach shot.

Hopefully this is the year where I finally get around to putting my ideas into practice and forge out a good swing. This is the only full swing video I have so far but I will stick one up of my chipping technique once it uploads. Problems I know: My right hand is waaaaaay too strong, I'm gripping that thing like a baseball bat. I've been making a conscious effort to weaken my grip and when it happens, I am more consistent especially with my irons. It wasn't a full swing - this was intentional as I was having a bad day and wanted to try and keep the slice under control but I still blocked this one right. I think I stand up a little early in the down swing. I hope to keep this thread updated quite often as hopefully my swing improves. Can anyone explain why it has changed the aspect ratio to 4:3 despite the window being in 16:9?

I'll say 7.9. I'd tell him to try to keep the club more on one plane as he's giving himself a lot to do from that finish in the back swing, try not to lean forward and down so much and to try and quieten down his wrists.

When Henry handled it, it was a draw. I think most people would have backed France even without that goal in extra time or penalties. As for cheating, do you condemn the dive to win the Republic a penalty against Georgia? I bet you weren't complaining then. Seems like it evened itself out. As for the World Cup, Spain or Brazil are the boring but safest looking bets.

For me something that typed the edge to push me towards the S2 Max was looks. My MD bag is yellow, my driver is yellow and I think it looks really smart to match them up.

Great thread for someone struggling with his irons of late. I think I'm turning the clubhead in too much and struggling to square it back up.

I'm just awaiting delivery on my Cobra S2 Max irons. My game just wasn't progressing and I have to accept that I can't get the consistency I want from my Ping Eye 2+.

I never did end up getting one, but now that golf is back for the year, the ZX1 is the top contender!

I hit a 90 yesterday, was so gutted not to break 90 when I'd gone out in 43 but a combo of bad weather and my own temper saw me card a 47 on the way back but I know the ability's there!

So close to my first sub-90 round today but a temper meltdown on the 10th and 11th cost me. Shot a 90, 40 Stableford points. Very happy considering the weather was very windy today and I shot 93 yesterday in optimal conditions.

My best score yet, a 93. Two GIR, my only three putts. If I didn't laugh I'd cry.

There's an American Golf. They don't have a huge collection of hybrids and stuff but a fairly decent collection of the main irons, drivers and putters. The local driving range has a pro shop, so there's a good chance they'd let you try some stuff out and see how you go. A. Finally winning one of my matches at 'The Rusty Cup', the golfing tournament we have amongst a bunch of friends every couple of years in a Ryder Cup format. I'd lost my previous 5 match-ups.
