I have the SM Four 5. Awesome bag. Lightweight and very comfortable on the shoulders. Easily hold all of my stuff (dozen or so balls, tees, rain gear, gloves, ball markers, pencils etc..) Pockets are big and can hold a lot. Its the first bag I have had with a 14 way divider. I will never use anything else again.

I would never wear the stuff. But I find it funny how people are calling golf the "gentleman's game", and they should not dress in stuff like this. How many "gentlemen" dressed nicely at the golf course have you seen get mad, throw a club, or curse out loud? How many "gentlemen" have you seen drunk on the course and making an ass out of themselves? I have seen plenty. I don't like the skulls but I do like flashy, bright colors. My favorite polos are red, orange, and a bright yellow.

Very good point. And at least the guy answered and questions without the aid of something that was pre-written like Tiger's so-called apology. That was pathetic.

Just watched the video. He defiantly did not look comfortable in front of the camera. But it looked more like nerves than social anxiety. I loved the lame segue attempt by Kelly. The island in the background reminds her of lost, which is his favorite TV show, blah blah blah. Too funny. Granted the interview could have gone better, but I did like when he said "There's a lot worse stuff that goes on out here than what I got in trouble for." I know Hank Haney is coming out with a book about Tiger, but does anyone think a so called "tell-all" book will ever come out and drop some bombs about some very popular players?

Why are there so many push cart haters?

I think it is interesting how things have changed at my old home course in high school. 15 years ago it was pretty evenly split between walkers and riders. 25% walked while carrying, 25% walked while pulling, 50% rode. Now you are lucky to find even 1 person out there walking. A little off subject. Sorry about that. -
When I see Pro V1 392 or 332 golf balls I am assuming that means the number of dimples. Is that correct? And if so, what differences would one see between those and the regular Pro V1?

I got a 2.0 earlier in the year. I love it. This is the first I have heard of it scratcing easily. Mine has been through 20+ rounds, no scratches on any part of it. Not sure if people are using plasitc tees or what is going on. Of course with the face being black and the rest of the head white, scratches would show up more easily. But none of that on mine. $150 is a great price. -
Yep, first set of Adams. 4-GW Will do that probably closer to the spring. The bag isn't set for next year yet. Still need to upgrade SW and LW and putter.
-
Got my new sticks today. Will have to wait awhile to use them since the temps are really cold and today we got 4 inches of snow.

Does it say in a contract between players and manufacturers what clubs the professional has to play? I only ask because you see so many using just the irons, but playing different woods and/or putter. I.E. Luke Donald is sponsered by Mizuno but uses a TM driver.

Scrambles are fun, but there is a big problem with them. 4 man scrambles are based on the honor system. That is why I like 2 man scrambles. There is always someone there to make sure you are not cheating or shaving strokes off your score.

Screw the central time zone. With a private jet, and assuming I could play a round in 3 hours, I'd go for ocean view courses. Play one on the east coast (Myrtle Beach) from 5:30 - 8:30 AM EST, take the plane to Cali and play Pebble Beach from 12:00 - 3:00 PST, then take the plane to Hawaii to finish off the day.

I agree, private jet would be a must. I really don't think it would be possible to have a 30 minute commute to an airport in NY for a commercial flight. Plus you would be leaving time in the hands of the airlines and that would not be good. Def. not possible with a limo. If you just wanted to play the eastern, central and west time zone why not pick a course close to the line that divides the eastern and central time zone? Somewhere in Indiana? Play one on each side then hop a flight to the western time zone, maybe Vegas, to play a course out there.

Thanks mvmac! A lot of different subject to talk about and read on here. Should never get boring!

Best club throwing, breaking, or angry outbursts you have seen or done

Same guy, 3 stories. 1. Pissed he 3 putted. Took a whack at the ball on the fringe with his putter and hit another guy right on the shin standing 10 feet away. 2. Pissed about a bad drive. He thew hit putter behind him and the shaft snaps on a tree. 3. Pissed about another bad drive (different day). Throws his driver behind him again and hits a guy right in the gut with the head. -

A new set of irons. Adams Idea Pro a12's. Standard length, 2 degrees upright, KBS X-Flex shafts. -
1. Improve short game Mostly putting. This year I have been streaky with my putter. Def. lost around 5 sub-par rounds from a cold putter. 2. Play in at least 1 tournament (hopefully more) I am 29, haven't played in a tournament since high school. I want to see what I shoot in pressure situations. Also I would like to play in scrambles more. They are fun as hell. 3. Practice, Practice, Practice Practice more 4. Improve on GIR and FW I got a new driver mid-season and improved my accuracy by 9%. Hopefully my new irons will provide a boost in GIR's 5. Find a ball and stick with it I keep changing balls. This year I have played almost every kind of premium and mid-grade ball. Can't seem to find the one that love.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. My name is Adam. I just moved from Chicago to Omaha, Nebraska. I have been playing golf for 14 years. The past 3 years I have gotten more serious with my golf game after only playing a few times for 4 years. I just got fitted for a new set of clubs. They should be arriving in about 2 weeks. I went with a set of Adams Idea Pro a12's. I chose those out of the 10 different I tried out. I must say those 2 weeks of testing clubs out was awesome.
