I acutally play better by myself but when it comes to the point of hitting blind tee shots, it's kinda discouraging.

459 yard par 5 The teebox is about 10 yards to the right and about 35 yards past the previous green. The course built a mesh-link fence infront of the previous green to protect putters from stray tee balls. Needless to say, my tee shot slams right into the fence and drops right next to it. I have no choice but to chip it backhanded sideways back into the fairway rough. Pull out the 3 wood and thankfully, blast the hell out of it to about 175 yards. I then break out the 6 iron, hit it a bit thin and leave it in the 2nd cut on the green. Just trying to get it close to make bogey, I grab the putter wanting to slam it home to two feet. Sure enough, that piggie hits the pin and drops for the world's greatest par EVAR! Kinda sucked standing beside my buddy's eagle, though...

Blues I find that I usually over-drive the doglegs 90% of the time when playing from the whites.

5 iron is the least used club in my bag. I guess around 175-180ish

I ususally go Sunday afternoons after the 1:00 NFL game. Play 9. Go home. Vodka & Tonic and the Sunday night game.

3 Wood - Screams off the tee & long off the fairway. 4 Hybrid - Great utility club; great on long par 3's. 7 Iron - The longer clubs above will get me into scoring range. PW - For chips within the cabbage. Putter - Because I can.

I've played in 3 two club tournaments and it's always been two clubs and a putter. Are you playing 9 or 18 holes? How many are par 3's? If you're in the 2+1 situation, I'd take a 4 Hybrid & PW. If you're in the 1+1 situtaion, I'd take a 7 iron & putter. On Par 5's, you can generally hit the green in 5. Betcha I can par the back 9 with nothing but a 7 iron! The idea is to ALWAYS be on the fairway.

My buddy uses an Aldila 65 XS on his driver. It's absoultely rediculious. It's like swinging a 2x4 with a brick on the end. I second the motion to adjust the kick.

I've owned old Burners and RAC OS2's and I'm still currently playing the OS2's. I prefer them to the R7's. Love em.
