  2. I just had my new bike delievered Thursday, 2011 Fuji Aloha 2.0. It's at the shop being assembled now, I can not wait until triathlon/golf season begins. Stock photo.
  3. Hey guys I'm heading to Titusville in March what are some decent courses around there? I plan on driving to Orlando to play a few also. Any help will be appreciated.
  4. I have been playing Nike drivers since 09. (Dymo2, MachSpeed Black, VR Pro II & now VR-S) I recieved the TM Rocketballz for free through work and can not hit that thing worth a lick. I also had the 1st Slingshot irons (05 I think) when I first started to golf loved them too.
  5. Your avatar says it all. I just picked up mp-59s, but still have my mx-200s in a spare bag ready to go if my game starts to go south.
  6. My were also a cheap set of Dunlop from Meijer. I bought them just to see if I would like golf, a year later I ended up getting Titleist DCI OS irons and a Callaway Steelhead III. Now I have Mizuno mx-200 and about 5 different drivers I play with depending on what I'm in the mood to swing at the time.
  7. My driver shaft broke in a car accident, does anyone know what the shaft tip size is that fits into the adapter? I assume it is .335 but I want to make sure before I get a new shaft.
  8. Same here I bought the RBZ when it came out hit it great with the stock shaft in it.(45 gram) Summer time came around and I started to hit it all over the place but the fairway. I ended up getting the Project X 5.5 68 gram and I started instantly hitting my 3-5 yd draw.
  9. It was the Matrix xcon5 (Green & Black shaft) h ttp://taylormadegolf.com/TaylorMade/RocketBallz-Driver/DW-JN737,en_US,pd.html?start=4&cgid;=taylormade-drivers-shopByType My friend upgraded to the Ozik xcon6.
  10. I had the same problem with the RBZ driver when I tested it at our demo day. I had to get a heavier shaft (13 grams more), but in the same flex. The stock shaft in the drivers are junk, our Taylormade rep at our club told me they cost $18.50 NEW! I also have the 3H RBZ Tour but I hit that straight 85 gram shaft. My advice would be to anyone looking to get the RBZ driver would be to try different shaft combos until you finally get the ball flight you want.
  11. Does anyone else use these on their irons and wedges? If so how often do you sharpen your grooves?
  12. I play with a group of 12-16 guys verying in age from 77-33, myself being the youngest. We have the self deeming guy who still thinks he should shoot in the 70's. The guy who will tell you the replay of his shot even though you were standing there watching him. (Oh and he talks in third person) I used to be the guy who would get extremely pissed on a silly bogey, therapy helped that. The guy who would top his ball in the water hazard the proceed to tell you what you did wrong in your swing. You sorta got to have thick skin to put up with us but you get used to it. It gets pretty comical some days.
  13. 73 on Par 71, 35-38. -2 under going into #9 par 3 and i take double bogey. I have never shot under par on either 9 but have came close until last hole.

  15. Plyometric exercises, works your fast twitch muscles. A lot of your tour golfers stress this more than just lifting weights.
  16. That was my problem right hand not getting through the ball combined with not making a full shoulder turn. Tightened my grip rather than adjusting though.
  17. I used to get them once a year for a week or two, I had everyone and there brother tell me what to do. The trick for me was to find someone at your course who beat them, me this guy told me to grip the club as tight as I could with my RIGHT hand. You will pull the crap out of your shot for a while but it was the only thing that worked for me. The shanks are the worst feeling a golfer can have on the course, you get scared to even swing the club.
  18. I gained 15-25 yds off the tee and 5-10 yds on my irons. I took a few lessons and most importantly gained flexibilty in the gym during the winter months. I took sessions with a personal trainer told her I was a golfer wanted more flexibilty not bulk muscle. She still had me doing some strength training to keep my muscle but a lot of it is core training and plyometrics. (ugh) Plyometerics helps activate your fast twitch mucles, which you use in yor golfswing to hit the ball farther.
  19. Just got the rbz 3 hybrid hit it really consistanly and I really like it. Hit it about the same length as my driver (shows how bad I need to work on my driver swing) back on point I would recommend it to anyone to atleast try it out I personly love mine and couldn't be happier I bought the RBZ Tour 3H 18.5*. It is 2 deg. open but my miss is left. I needed something for some holes to lay up off the tee, very easy to hit and work the ball left and right.
  20. I went to Myrtle in May, also played Waterway Hills. I was not Impressed at all. It is a $45 course at most. We also played World Tour (Highly Recommended), playing Amen Corner there is a real treat. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. I chatted with the ranger for 10 min. while the rest of my group putted out.
  21. We play Peninsula Golf Resort every year in Lancaster, KY. It is a course that is fun but set up for the most part fair, except for a few holes. (#2 & #5) All carry http://peninsulagolf.com/
  22. I have had the sg5 for 3 yrs now and hadn't had any issues. Now 2 other guys I golf with have the sg4 and theirs act up all the time. Mine will read 100 yds on the marker and theirs will say 326 yds or so, theirs are always off 10 or so yds. Quote: Get a laser range finder....no uploads, no syncing - just point and shoot! This won't help for mapping the entire hole, but can be used to measure distances to trees, bunkers, etc. If you have shaky hands like me there not really effective.
  23. FootJoy StaSoft - gotta be all white.
  24. I found one of these balls at my course. A high school kid said it is illegal, I've neveer heard of them. Foo-King Long
  25. The Titleist vg3 is Japan's ProV1. I play them quite a bit, they drive like the nxt but have the spin on greens like a ProV. They also have blue pearl-lescent shine.
