  16. Just looked at the website. He is up past 3400 hours and his handicap is 5.8. I think he realistically has a good chance to make it at the pace he is going but what I also think is that it's going to come down to (at least at first) whether or not he can perform under pressure. It's a lot different hitting balls over and over again by yourself or with someone you're comfortable with but it's a whole different thing in environments and with people you are not familiar with. He should be participating in some local tournaments or scrambles to get used to the audience factor. -Scott
  17. TW PGA Tour 09 was my favorite but I really enjoy Road to the Masters too. Hoping to see a little more dynamic crowds and a some better commentary in this edition. So what do you guys think... Will we see McIlroy on the cover of PGA Tour 2015 or will the Tiger Woods franchise continue on? Just doesn't have the same catch to it... Rory McIlroy PGA Tour 15... Doesn't really roll off the tongue. -Scott
  18. Agree. I took my 3 wood completely out of my bag. I can hit all day long on the range and then I get out there and top it every time. I guess it's just a mental thing but I don't have any problems getting distance out of my 3 iron so I'm pretty content. -Scott
  19. Congrats to Charlie! If he can continue to play like that he will definitely be a strong contender in 2013. -Scott
  20. I'm going with Charlie Beljan. He isn't on Huh's level yet but after seeing what he did this weekend I have to say he has a lot of heart and a lot of potential. -Scott
  21. I have to be honest... If I was a tour pro and some company came to me and said we'll give you 20 million dollars to use a little bit of our gear and wear our clothing I would have to take it as well. I guess I'm just greedy like that. -Scott
  22. I got to test our theories about walking today. I explained to my buddies that walking would probably be faster and they politely disagreed with me and loaded up into their cart. So I walked while they rode in a cart. I got the roll eyes and a comment of "faster my a**" as they drove past me to their balls after our first tee off... unfortunately for them I'm a better player and I ended up waiting for them on every green. Made me feel pretty good and the exercise was good. It was chilly this morning so the walking kept my body moving and warmed up. I felt a lot more relaxed coming up to my ball for my next shot. I think walking definitely has its advantages. And Datsyuk, If that one line is the only thing you took away from my whole paragraph... then I can see that you are the type of person that is never wrong and never needs any advice. I could see that if one person had an issue with your responses then yeah... maybe then it would point to a simple disagreement or misunderstanding. But, the problem is that it's not just one person... it's a whole forum of people that have a problem with the way you have presented yourself. And when we try and help or point it out you go on the defensive. I think that's all I need to say. -Scott
  23. And what's sad is that up in Indiana where I grew up the school systems have cut Phys Ed and recess out of schools. We used to get a full hour of PE and 3 recesses a day. Now they don't get any PE gym time and only 1 recess at the end of the day. They are also cutting most after school sports programs because they can't afford them. A salad costs $6 and a cheeseburger cost $2... No wonder our children and adults are getting fatter in America. -Scott
  24. My First Sergeant telling me I better get it in gear at 0530 in the morning lol. -Scott
