I am living abroad in Gothenburg, Sweden. My local golf course closed regular greens Dec. 26, and re-opened them mid-late February! With winter greens in January and early February. It had been a really good off season, until we received 10cm snow last week, it should be all gone by tomorrow. It was certainly an unpleasant surprise to have the golf course closed due to snow for the first time in late March.

I play with a 17* 4 wood and a 21* Hybrid. If I have a nice lie with much distance, I play the 4 wood. If I have a shorter distance or a less desirable lie, I play the hybrid where I can appreciate its properties in either situation.

I play at the range 4-5 times per week. I always play one round per week, on Sundays, sometimes two. I play with this schedule, because I don't have enough time to play 5 days a week but I still would like to improve my playing. I would rather play 4-5 rounds every week and hit the range once, maybe in a perfect world.

My Girlfriend doesn't play golf, she is not going to learn. I am ok with that, I like playing golf with the boys. She doesn't drink my scotch either.

I have got a couple pairs of footjoys. I like the ones with the classic look. I bought them on ebay, brand new, for a nice price.

Does anybody have an opinion about this? I am living abroad in Sweden, and here they use a different handicap system. Your handicap here seems more to represent how you play on your best rounds, not your average. The goal is to effectively match your handicap, although most golfers only hit this goal a couple times a year. I can understand why it is good, because you can boast a lower handicap than your true average. Tournaments are played with handicaps so basically it is shooting yourself in the foot.

I play with Nike SQ Tour, 10.5 degrees. I think it is nice.

I find it hillarious, I have been yelled at for playing to slow while I was waiting for the group in front of me to get off the green. I thought the purpose of golf was to relax and have fun. It isn't good for my game if I get yelled at, and it can't be good for some a-holes game to yell at me.

I have no signature, it is really dissappointing. I just want to be part of the club.

I have saved thousands shopping on ebay and have never been disappointed, it is important to check out the history of the seller first.
