  1. Last time i played at gunpowder was superbowl sunday and it was okay... i had a 91 at geneva last wednesday... =/
  2. Not sure exactly how close you guys are to Harford, but The Wetlands in Aberdeen and Geneva Farms are the best courses i've played. I usually play at a Par 62 course called Gunpowder Falls regularly. Great course for short game, longest hole is 330 from the whites and its #18. Best score theres about an 85.
  3. I like Cink, hes sue for a win eventually.
  4. 250-290 yards with the limited experience i have with playing with a foursome. Longest drive I think ive personally seen was Freddy Funk at Baltimore Country club last year on the third day. He's known for his accuracy, but the roll-out of this dog-leg left hole that I watched was amazing.

  6. Quoted for truth.
  7. I have Stuart Cink on my B list for fantasy this year, he had it in the bag and blew it towards the end. His tee shot on 18 was the nail in the coffin, I turned it off after that.
  8. That's 90% of my drives if I try and muscle up. I usually can manage a slight draw with my 3 and 4 hybrids off the tee as long as i dont sky the shot. It's the best feeling in the world when a noticeable draw happens with my hybrids. For now though, a fade off the tee for sure.
  9. 200-225 Yards with my driver right now at a slightly uphill range, and we all know how bad of shape most range balls are in.
  10. Some courses around here used to have pull-carts to rent, so ive heard, but for the 3 courses that ive played with my dad they dont have them, so we end up walking. Walking is better because it gives you enough time to mentally clear out the last hole and think about the next holes yardage and your game plan. Also better for exercise.
  11. Driver, 3-iron (hybrid), 7-iron, Putter, Sand Wedge.
  12. Dont have a Gap or Lob, my sand is my 56 deg. I use that the most, 85 yards in, chipping, pitching, laying up.
  13. Same for me at the moment.
  14. By barely beating my Ravens. Voted for spygate though.
  15. I understand, but the thing for me is, the closer the approach, the shorter the putt. If im already garunteed 2-3 sometimes 4 putts a green, a GIR would save me a stroke or two. Edit: If it's a par 4, and i hit a halfway decent drive and get it on in 3, which is sometimes the case, that's a GIR. If it takes me 4 to get on, plus 2-3 putts, thats a double boug as opposed to a boug or par.
  16. I recently purchased a Tour Edge XLD (Xtra Long Distance) 10.5 deg. 460CC Mega MOI Exotic driver that is fairly forgiving and easy to hit contact wise. The shaft is a Graphite Design S-Flex (Standard-Flex) Weight: 52 Grams, Torque: 4.5, Launch: Mid. Golf Pride Grip came standard with the driver. Comparing that to my Acuity Turbo Max 3-Wood, the 3 wood is much easier to shape in transition from back to downswing based on the shaft being a low torque shaft and having a smaller head. On a slightly heavier 55 gram shaft with the Tour Edge XCG head that my boss has, the head felt weightless compared to the shaft, which is a strong flex or less flex shaft, and was fairly easy to hit as well, but the 53 gram standard worked best for me and led me to my decision.
  17. I'm the ball picker/cart guy at a local range while I go to school, get to play for free and my boss cuts me deals on clubs.
  18. Greetings from about 30 minutes north of Baltimore City.
  19. Improve to a 12-15 handicap, i'm only 18 and hope to be a sports psychologist for either a pro golfer or football team when i get my degree. My golf game now is at a fairly decent level, I hope to become more comfortable with my driver and my long, non-hybrid irons.
  20. Hit every green in regulation for sure, where my games at now personally, the wedges I hit are fairly easy and I love second and third shots from 100 yards in, and putting is the weakest part of my game.
