  1. Ping g5/g10 drivers.
  2. I really want one of these...I have a sophia and its amazing but Id like to try a more modern design like this.
  3. 6' 2", 33" Sophia. 33" Odyssey #9. 33" Wilson staff blade.
  4. When the weather is nice I do it every round of every year. I ONLY wear black shoes. Either with pants OR shorts.
  5. I like pw's to match my sw and lw as much as possible. My pw is too squarish to open and flop compared to a sw style wedge. you should go with the mpt pw.
  6. thanks everyone. The mizuno is great but it IS getting old! I love the black pearl look so I may go with the cg12 bpearl. Vokey black finish doesnt look great to me... Next go around I may try the voke.
  7. My mizuno is nice but if I wanted more bite would the voke or the cleveland be my best bet? Or another brand?? Thanks.
  8. cleveland mizuno vokey for me...
  9. I agree, I thought Jacobsen was great as well!!!!! but NOT miller.
  10. What are the lightest golf shoes on the market? Not sandals spikes or anything like that. Just normal golf shoes.
  11. Tiger is back and so is Miller. #1-Was it appropriate to comment on sean o hair's personal relationship with his father? #2-How many times could one commentator say the word 'cut' or 'high cut' during a round? the knucklehead is back! Overrated player, overrated commentator, overrated mind.
  12. Good post and I agree! I cut my wedges down for control and raised the lie's a bit. I get my lofts and lies checked and adjusted every 6 rounds or so now. Sometimes more. It makes me happy and I know for a fact it is helping my game. I also take note of any usual misses and adjust lie's accordingly. I play a natural 5 yard fade and if I start hitting an iron 10-15 yards either way I either know its time for an adjustment or a slight change.
  13. Never played vokes on the course but i love my mizunos. I enjoy the feel and the spin control. I think vokey's would be a bit too 'spinny' for me. I like my wedges to either bounce and few times and check or punch and run them out...

    Faders?

Any faders left on tour? Vijay... Name them here. 98% of the coverage I watch of the tour they are all hitting draws. #1-Name active tour 'faders' here. #2-Am I wrong? I swear they all hit draws on tour. Thanks.
  15. feel, trajectory, shot habits... i bent my 54 to a 56 this year so i could be more aggresive on chips and partial shots. Also my tendency last year was to either hit it a bit too far and then swing light the next shot to compensate. its all about feel and tendencies. sometimes i play a round and realize im digging in too much on the toe of a few of my irons so i will go after the round and have the lies checked and adjusted. nothing is better then getting feedback and then making adjustments.
  16. 32-33" on all of mine here....DO IT!
  17. Half way through zen golf and I am loving it! I can't wait for warmer weather so I can work on some of these ideas. Great book if you ask me!!!!!!!
  18. Play the ball back, short backswing, good tempo, keep the back of your left hand towards the target as long as possible.
  19. I LOVE faldo as a commentator! He gives a good perspective and calls thing like they are. NO bs.
  20. 54-60 is great. Good thing with a low bounce 54 is you can bend them to 56 like me and still have options or you can bend them the other way for a gap wedge too. I LOVE 54* wedges. They are the best.
  21. i know, and im surprised iacas hasn't deleted all of them since he's a titleist guy.
  22. nothing comes close if you ask me...Callaway is sort of close. and I have tried them all.
  23. 6-2/6-3 here, standard length. lies are about 1-2 up from standard. Avg new lie(2-p) 59 59.5 60 60.5 61 62 63 63.5 64 mine... Lie 60 60.5 61 61.5 62 63 64 64.5 65 every swing is different though. you maybe flat at impact of the swing... leading to flater lies and maybe even shorter lengths. it all depends.
  24. They work. They cleaned my grooves and removed burrs and made the edges sharper and the grooves wider and deeper. If clubs are new and grooves are good, sharpeners are really just groove cleaners....BUT if your clubs are old and the grooves are worn and mis-shapen, these surely work. ps-cleaner corners on grooves and deeper and wider grooves increase backspin on a ball. Just ask cleveland wedge users that have the ZIP grooves.
