I'm not sure if this is something you'd like to do but there's a company that will refinish your clubs all around including the lettering. They do gunmetal, satin chrome, and any color lettering you'd like. I love my mp67's so much I've been thinking about doing this. http://restorationgolf.com/refinished-irons.aspx

As we speak I have only one putter. I've never felt the putter was the problem. If I miss the putt it's because I made a bad stroke. In 15 years of playing golf I've only had 5 putters.
-
I never had many rounds in the 100's when I first started playing. It took me about 3 years to break into the 70's. Now I hover around high 70's low 80's. A great round for me is about 75. All things relative. My home coures is 72.3/132 from the tees I play.

With me it depends. If I'm playing skins with someone in my group, and he gives me the putt I'll take it because its defacto match play. If its inside a foot I'll just tap it in. I've had times with friends where its two feet out with a L to R break (my least favorite) and someone gives me the putt, I'll tell them no I'll putt it. Really for handicap purposes. I have yipped that one more times than I care to talk about.

How many times will you see within 5 min. of each other Phil wiff a flop shot, Tiger chunk one in the bunker and Ernie put a ball in the water with a fairway wood. Just goes to show you they do make mistakes.

OK, I am officially locked out. I did a search on both of my hard drives for any file with Scorecard in it and there is not a license to be found. I take that back. there is one for license image, but that does nothing for me. This bad boy is paid for. Now what do I do?

Is spine angle the key to ballstriking?
ezmoney5150 replied to shortstop20's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
This is my problem also. I probably blow anywhere from 3-5 strokes a round because of this. My problem stems from my front heel lifting off the ground, which changes my spine angle. If my heel slightly comes up its a block to the right. If it comes up severe I either skull or top the ball. I have tried so many things to keep this from happening. I was putting more weight on my front foot. Puting weight on the balls of my feet, all seem to work for a round or two then I'm back mis-hitting balls to the right. Any tips on how to keep my foot and spine angle down? -
I am probably the only person in the world that roots against Tiger everytime he tees it up. Except in the Ryder and President's Cup. Now that's not his fault. It's the media's fault for trying to make him messianic. I digress. I listened to everyone of his press conferences and thought he was most professional. He complimented all the players on their play, Y.E. included. He also commented how Y.E. beat him in Japan. I think I watched all the coverage and didn't see anything out of the ordinary with Tiger.

I have to agree with Erik. He still blocks an occasional tee shot out to the right, but he's alot better now than he was then. His putting under Hank is outstanding. He's probably the only person who thinks a 30 foot putt is going in every time. And he makes alot of them. Just look at his front nine on Sunday at Firestone.

As horrible as I played today I had one great ball striking hole. The 4th hole at Dragon Ranch. It plays about 420 yards. I pulled a driver left, but somehow it kicked back in the fairway. Then hit a 7 iron from 158 pin high about 20 feet right. Two putted for par. My only shining moment of the day. Everything else was army golf.

Putting is where it's at. 5 years ago I was stuck between 10 and 13 handicap. I switched to the Odyssey two ball belly putter and dropped to 8 by the end of the year. Now I hover between 6 and 9.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this, but after 22 days on the disabled list (bone spur in right elbow) I played my worst round in quite some time. I played Dragon Ranch from the white tees and shot an 87. Just horrible. I couldn't stay down on the ball at all. I was on the bogey train big time. I also had a quad and a triple. Only 4 pars and no birdies. The positive was I got up and down a lot to save bogey. http://www.dragonranchgolf.com/

I'm letting this three hole stretch kill me....post simular if you have them
ezmoney5150 replied to Dub's topic in Golf Talk
I cant tell you how well I can relate. 7,8, and 9 at my course can just ruin a round for you. #7 is the number 1 handicap #8 is the number 5 handicap #9 is the number 3 handicap I have gone into #7 shooting par and walked off #9 at 7 over par. Talk about frustrating. http://greyhawkgolf.com/tour.htm -
My first one ever was 12 years ago at Conley Resort in Butler, PA. 7th hole. It's a downhill Par 5 with a pond in front of it. I hit a driver and a 5 iron to 6 feet with a Precept Extra Spin ball. That was a good weekend. The next day I had an eagle on the first hole at Conley. Driver, seven wood with a Maxfli Patriot ball. I probably have the record for three jacks when I'm on a par 5 in two. I will not leave an eagle putt short.

Well I thought I had everything working. When I opened Scorecard today it asked me for the license. Ugh!!! I looked for the license and it's not there. In the zip I have InternalFiles.msi and setup.exe. When I did a search, in the Resourses folder I found ScorecardLic.ico, but it only opens up in the picture viewer as an icon. As you can see I'm not very sharp at this. Any ideas?

Pretty Cliche' but true. The putter is the great equalizer.

Boy, Got me. I switched from the Ping I3's about 5 years ago. Went to the MP-37's which I hit longer than my Pings, then to the MP-67's which seem to have a higher trajectory and lost about 5 yards. But never lost distance. The grooves seem the same to me.

I think the Poa did Tiger in. Made him second guess his putting. Tiger did seem to be more conservative. Just waiting for Y.E. to choke so he could just stride to victory. That didn't happen.

My bad... I thought I heard he was 5'9" 160.

I smoke cigars at work, home and on the golf course. Been enjoying them for 13 years. I find when I smoke cigars on the golf course that I enjoy the moment more and not get to crazy about what kind of round I'm having. Hit a bad shot? Oh well, nice day and great cigar. I'll make it up on the next hole.

OK, Got everything running. Now, my question is.....do I have to have my own server/webpage to export my scorcard to sandtrap.com?
-
Having a hard time registering. The open box pops up, can't find the license to click on. where can I go for help. I think I got it.

I'm sure he's talented in other areas. Otherwise he wouldn't be in the PGA Championship. I find it amazing that he weighs what he does and hits it sooooo far.

I feel my handicap is bigtime skewed. The Slope rating on my course is high and it seems to keep my handicap low. I feel it should be somewhere between 10-15, but I'm not going to argue with the USGA. They're definitely smarter than me.

With a great drive that hits the fairway and rolls to 280-300 yards you're still putting a hybrid or fairway wood in my hand. That's my weakness.
