  1. Playing collegiate golf would be nice, but I don't think I'm cut out for it. Plus the schools I'm applying too are all D1 and pretty damn good(like Wake Forest). I'm more than happy to settle for playing in the golf club, all for fun yet still pretty competitive.
  2. Probably new Mp-52s 57s or AP-2s and the new titleist driver. But I'll probably only get one of those things and save some money.
  3. Getting my swing back. Beginning of the summer I was hitting the ball so pure, and then my pull shot came back. I never recovered the entire summer(still haven't). Just having the motivation to practice and work it out has been tough.
  4. Let us know how they are. I've had my eye on them and I'd like some feedback.
  5. I have the first model of Black Series(metal insert) and I love it. The distance control with it is not an issue. And if you're hitting the ball pure it feels so sweet.
  6. About 6 hours, but I was caddying not playing.
  7. Eisenhower Red Course is pretty good. They host a Champions Tour event there every year. And of course Bethpage.
  8. The BOA system is amazing...my snowboard boots have it. :) I would get the Reelfits but I don't like the style of the shoe. Plus tying a golf shoe is 10x easier then tying boot laces so I see no need for them.
  9. That's the funniest thing I've heard in a while. lol
  10. I think she'll do quite well. Plus I'm really hoping she does, there needs to be more American girls that can compete with the mass amount of Asians on the tour.
  11. In tournaments it actually helps me. I don't have to worry about being the worst player in the group and I can focus more on my game. I have a wierd mental game. =/
  12. My brother caddied in the Sybase for a local pro, he said it was an awesome. I might volunteer for the 09 U.S. Open at the Black, it might be fun.
  13. Thanks man. That article got me pumped for the new driver line.
  14. Amen. I get frustrated, and sometimes really mad on the course. Only if I'm having an absolutely awful day will I throw a club, and that's just to keep myself from breaking it. Also, don't mistake this as me blaming the club, I know it's entirely my fault but the club is already in my hands so.... People may call me and idiot or spoiled because I throw clubs, but you have no right to judge. You have no idea what I'm feeling at that particular moment in time, going round after round of playing poor golf(by some standards) and not being able to figure out the problem is the most frustrating thing ever.
  15. A bigger hitter, the Lama. The Bobby Jones movie is a really good movie that everyone should check out.
  16. Damn, that exactly the same as me. Took me a little while to get used to the change but now that I have I would never go back.
  17. If it's only three of us we'll play a game of 9's. If all three tie, we all get 3 pts Two tie they get 4pts each and the last person gets 1 pt One person wins they get 5 pts while the other two get 2 pts each if the tie each other And if all people have different scores then it's 5 pts for the winner, 3 for second and 1 pt for the person in last Add up the points at the end of the round and pay out. Usually $0.10 a point. EDIT: It's similar to what Young Golf Prodigy plays.
  18. I wish I could help with info on getting a tee time at the Black, but I've yet to play it. But I can tell you this, if you show up early and you can't get on at the Black, the Red course is a great alternative and it's a lot easier to get a tee time on.
  19. I've broken a few clubs out of anger(snap shafts), but I would never go that far. I can deal with paying for new shafts, but not with losing an entire club.

    Caddying

Number one rule, PAY ATTENTION! Every new caddy I try and train, day dreams and never watches when the players are hitting, consequently losing balls and getting yelled at by the players.
  21. Our season is in the spring(private school), which sucks because I can't play unless I go down to South Carolina to practice. =/ As for my team, we're pretty damn good. Only one other team in our league can even challenge us. Our 7 starters are all single digit hdcps, four of them are under a 5. This year I should be in the number 2 spot, hopefully.
  22. The course we belong to in South Carolina. www.secessiongolf.com
  23. Adam Scott Justin Rose Robert Karlsson Davis Love III And I'm beginning to warm up to Anthony Kim, but he's still outside of my favorites.
  24. Ours just past, the two favorites both lost to the guy who won it. It was very fun to watch this year. We also had the Junior Club Championships last week too. I lost to a pretty damn good 14 year old in the semis. =/
