Well, it's almost that time again, the city tournament. Played my first qualifying round on the easier of the two courses and carded a 76. During my second qualifying round, we were called in because of an incoming storm. Played the first 9 holes up and down for +6, 42, which could have easily been a 38, but that happens I suppose. Just glad my game as rediscovered itself after a 2 month hiatus in which I wanted to quit. I'm glad I didn't though, the putter is back rolling and the driver is back to chomping fairways. Just in time I suppose, hoping it stays for about another month at least.

The Cleveland classic series is pretty nice and is around $60.

My first eagle was on the 10th hole par 4, 360 yards. Holed out from the fairway from 100 yards. The ball is currently sitting on a shelf in my bedroom.

They did this last year for people to demo their new burner irons also. It's also the closest I'll get to owning a set of their irons. It felt terrible.

I'm a pretty good putter and that's becuase I work at it constantly during golf season and during the off season. No sense in hitting it 275+ yards if you're going to 3 putt every green. Short game is the key.

I have them and cannot tell the difference between the two. Can't beat the price either.

Yeah the feel of a Scotty is pretty nice. Especially the non insert putters.

I'm looking at the Coronado or Monterey. I don't really like the mid mallet look of the Del Mar.

Anyone have one of these and care to share your thoughts. I'm considering getting one here in the near future.

I didn't seen any shredding on my Srixon Z-Stars all summer with my CG12s or my CG14s at all.

He is still suspended from playing, he can only practice. As an Eagles fan, I still don't know how to feel. If I were McNabb though, I might be a bit angry.

I carried a 60* for a few seasons before going to a 58* this season. Love both clubs. Stops bone dead on the greens, great for tight pins. Also a good club for pitching around greens. Some people like lob wedges some don't, just a personal preference.

I played 2 rounds with one when I was struggling with my 3 iron a few years back, and hit it even worse than my 3 iron. It has earned a spot in the garage ever since.

I use the Clicgear 2.0 also and it's a great push cart. Had a problem with the brake, but was an easy repair. Folds up pretty small and takes up little space.

The yellow doesn't fly too much higher, I didn't mind the ball flight actually. Hopefully you like the woods. They are great clubs and you won't be disappointed, I can promise you that.

I have the Red shafts in both woods, both stiff. Needed a bit lower ball flight. Had the Yellow in my old Hibore, seemed a bit whippy for me.

I bought the strong 3 wood and 5 wood at the start of the season and I couldn't be happier with them. Great feel and hot off the club face. Fantastic clubs.

I play to get better and use every round to fix any flaws I may have, so when I play competitive rounds I'm at my best.

Box of Srixon Z-Stars, tees, and new spikes. Next trip may result in a new putter though...

I carry a 13 degree 3 wood and have no problem with it off the tee or off the deck. Great club for me to have in the bag when the I'm not not driving the ball well or looking down a tight fairway.
