He's part of an investment group that's in talks to buy TM. Honestly, it sounds like a smart business decision. Dozens, if not hundreds of athletes have invested in their respective sports, especially post-retirement. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Oscar De La Hoya, Mario Lemieux, Warrick Dunn, etc. Tiger has never struck me as a businessman, but neither did Jordan and Johnson. It seems to me like he's starting to think about life after the PGA.
Now do I think Tiger will be in the lab adjusting lofts? Absolutely not. But I think he'll throw in his two cents when needed.
I'd love to have this retirement plan.
