  1. Thanks for the answers guys. TBH I don't really care what anyone thinks, I have no doubt in my mind that I'll make it. Simply because I'm one of the hardest working golfers in the world, I can physically do what Tiger does and I believe short game wise I'm already on PGA tour level. My biggest strength is my mental game though. The only thing I really gotta work on is distance control with my wedges. That's my big weakness atm. That and time is also on my side since I'm only 20. I know I sound like a braggart with this post, but I can back it up.
  2. lulz........
  3. I call bs on that. If he could get up and down every time from 150 yards he'd shoot like 59 every time he plays.
  4. I've hit a couple 400+ yarders. Downhill, downwind of course.
  5. Stewart Cink = Twitter Tadd Fujikawa = Oompa Loompa Boo Weekley = Big Country John Daly = Fancypants Anthony Kim = Lil' Kim Brandt Snedeker = Goldie Locks Rory Mcillory = The Highlander Ryan Moore = Frodo Paul Goydos = The Duck Tiger Woods = The Messiah
  6. I like sergios swing the best.

    Moe Norman

The reason why Moe Norman is so famous is because he hit the ball dead straight without any curvuture. Every single time. I know someone that played a round of golf with him once. He said when he played with him, Moe hit the flagstick 6 times. The pros didn't like Moe because he made fun of them. He'd be leading a tournament and then purposely putt the ball in the bunker and and get up and down to win. Occurences like that eventually got him banned from the tour. He was a phenomenal golfer, he shot 59 a couple times and had dozens of hole in ones.
  8. First of all good job! You might wanna get better at lag putting. 3 putts are always unnecessary. It's cliche, but the fastest way to lower your score is to mostly practice chipping and putting. About the full swing. Technique doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that you hit the ball solid and have a repeatable shot shape. Good luck!
  9. I played 18 holes all by myself the other day in an hour and 30 minutes. It was awesome.
  10. Damn has AK gotten skinny.
  11. Phil Mickelson= moobs
  12. I'm curious, what does your practice schedule look like Ben?
  13. It's not sub par golf. The Nationwide players are as good as the pga tour players except for the mental game and putting. Whereas in womens golf you see them topping the ball, not hitting a green from 100 yards, not getting out of bunkers, laying up from 200 yards etc...
  14. I don't have a coach. I just read a ton of golf books, watched swing analysis of the pros, watched my own swing on camera etc... then I went to the range and worked on it. My swing was actually fundamentally sound, I just did a lot of minor things wrong which led me to spray the ball all over the place. My short game was what absolutely killed me though.
  15. it's personal preference. Try them all out and decide for yourself.
  16. I play very fast. I pick a target, take a practice swing from behind the ball and then I just go up and hit it.
  17. possible, but unlikely. I can only speak for myself, but 5 months ago I wasn't able to break 90 and today I shot a career low 63. Having said that I pretty much practiced everyday from 7am to 10pm for 5 months straight and hit a zillion balls. Anything is possible, I doubt however your friend practiced that hard.
  18. Shot the best round of my life today. A 63. No bogeys. -3 on the front and -6 on the back (6 straight birdies). Stuck everything close and holed almost everything. Practicing DOES pay off!
  19. Because they don't hit it nearly as long as the guys on the PGA tour. Average swing speed on lpga tour is 95mph. Lorena swings at 100mph. Michelle at 105. So Michelles average carry distance would be 235 yards with a driver which is a 3 iron for the long hitters on the pga tour. Average swing speed PGA tour is 113. Fastest swing speeds on tour are 135. Average carry distance for a 135 swing speed would be 315 yards. Trust me, Michelle and Lorena don't hit it nearly as far as advertised.
  20. .......................
  21. How about "The man that almost beat Y.E. Yang".
  22. Well, Hogan increased his spine angle during the backswing. I believe though it's just a matter of the right posture at address.
  23. Tigers career is over. He'll never win another tournament again.
  24. 1 putt and 4 penalty strokes.
