  1. If this was true John Daly would be a lifer but is not.
  2. I actually heard that also so i added a pre-shot routine doing that and it is helping me loosen up a bit and relaxing me on my swing. I have a tendency to push the ball because i get so tight but since adding the waggle my shots go more on line of were I am aiming
  3. Wow exciting ending so far! Bubba in the bunker , Vegas in the water and Phil missing the fairway to the left. going to be a close one. EDIT: Great Win BUBBA!
  4. I am the middle one but since I am really starting to take golf a little more serious I am going to try to get a little better knowing the rules. I was a weekend warrior up until last spring but since i have been really trying to study the swing I have gotten hooked on it and want to learn more and get better. My wife thinks I am a golf nerd know when I start talking golf.

I have been doing the classic version for a month now and before I started i could only do a 3/4 swing due to not being real flexible and now I can can do a full swing. It does require more time during the week because most programs are 1 hour except for yoga which is 1 1/2 hours. its also a 6 day a week program with Optional 7 day Stretch disc. Being Winter i am doing the 6 day and once golf season hits I will probably do 3-4 a week really focusing on Yoga and Stretching just to keep it until next off season. It really does hit everything if you do the 6 day a week program.
  6. I got a new Callaway X 08 fairway 3 wood, Stack and Tilt DVD set, Shag bag, and a set of Tifosi Ventoux sunglasses. Just watched the first S&T; video and already picked up some stuff i didn't total understand in the book so I can't wait till the snow melts to go to the driving range.
  7. wow its really different but looks pretty cool!
  8. I don't think it's a big deal and don't see much coming from it. It's made an interesting topic thought.
  9. I like honesty and being that he is right and not pulling out the PC card makes me respect him more. If Rory was eligible for Rookie of the year he should have won it hands down with Fowler a distant second. I really think it was a PGA PR job because the Euro wore out the Americans this year.
  10. 1) Break 90 for the first time 2) Move my GIR up from 20% to 40% plus 3) Move my driving accuracy up to 50% (currently 30%) 4) Get lessons at Golf Evolution this July 5) Get fitted and purchase new irons
  11. That's a pretty cool comparison. I can see were that's only 5% S&T;
  12. My goal this year was to break 90. I got really close a couple times but failed to do it. Shot a 91 with a triple bogey on the 18th hole (drove one OOB). So that will continue to be my 2011 goal. I did drop 3 handicap points this year with more consistency from my irons from 23.4 to 20.1
  13. I have it and its pretty tough. I was sore most of last week with it. I haven't been doing 6 days of it though. to much overtime here lately but it should slow down after Christmas so I will get back to 5 plus days of it.
  14. My work has invested in Weight Watchers at work program and I have to say its been the best program i have been on to lose weight. Its actually helps you change you eating habits and they don't like to say the word diet. I have been up and down for years on diets and this actually helps me change my habits. To date I have lost 42lbs in the last 16 weeks by just following the point system. They just went up with a change that I like that helps cut out bad carbs that company's just added fiber to make the points low. THe new system prevents that.
  15. US: big Phil fan European: always liked G. McDowell (even before his US open) i think its because of the Hat :)
  16. I watched that video a few days ago and thought the same thing. He doesn't move to the back of the Hula hoop at all.
  17. From what I read and understand your club face is square to the target since your shot started off straight but you swing path is outside in putting slice spin on it so it would be your path. I am having the opposite issue, my swing path is inside out and I square the club face at impact and it cause a straight draw (have to get brave enough to open the face a little at setup).
  18. Those are sweet! I am looking at getting a set of Mizuno's sometime after Christmas. Not sure if i can hit the MP series but going to get fitted and see what works the best for me. Have fun with those
  19. Same here. I went from a 35" to a 33" and putt much, much better now
  20. Love that video i watched it a couple times to let it sink into my head before around last week. I currently set me ball just off my left foot but I seem to be hitting a straight draw instead of a push draw so I am going to move it back another ball width off my heel to see if I get the push draw today. Oh and by the way that video helped me cure my slice I picked lately. I was moving my upper body forward when I was placing 60% of my weight on my left foot and notice on the video your head stays put at the center of your stance.
  21. Same here. I have gotten much, much better since getting his DVD set
  22. Went out to today and gave it a try and I have to say I pretty much fell in love with it. I usually hang around 1.8 to 2 avg putts per round and today on my first outting with it did a 1.56 and sunk a 10 foot birdie putt. Love the weight and feel of it and after trying the Odyssey #9 white ice I have to say I like the Slot line better.
  23. Yep here it is
  24. Just got it in just a couple hours ago and I have to say its a beautiful club. I have been putting it around the house and so far I'm impressed. its much heavier than my old Dunlop and I like it that way. Added a few pictures to go with the one already in this thread.
  25. I have to admit I missed it to. Pretty Funny
