3M Makes a spray adhesive that would probably work well for bonding the two. I'd get a roller of some sort and have someone help you spray/stretch/roll it on and I be it could be pretty cool. Good idea.

Wow - +1 and well said. Guess reading the rules makes one old, huh ;)

BS - If she wants to go and you want her there than take her. There's no reason to not let her ride unless you just want to be away from her for 5 hours. To boil it down we're essentially saying "Babe - I'm asking you nicely to get lost for 5 hours on our vacation while I golf because I'm scared of what the other guys might think."

Pretty sure this is not correct. According to what I read on their site, the frames are wider on the Asian fit. I don't know how much stock you can put in a sunglasses hut employee, but I also asked them (skinny face on me as well) and the fellow I spoke with said to avoid the Asian fit for me.

??? I don't play a wedge with enough loft for it to be considered a "Lob" wedge (I'd consider anything 58+ a lob wedge), but those who do seem adamant they HAVE to be able to open it up...

+1 for the 909 series.

I just bought a set of Mizuno MP-30s off eBay for $107 - 3-PW and the 7 iron is the only one with the chrome worn (grooves still sharp). I love these irons and for the price I feel like I stole them...

I've had a lot of folks ask me what I'm playing after they hear the sound my 905R makes when I tee off - had random partners and groups letting me play though comment on it. I don't hit the ball a mile but it sounds solid.

Any high quality indoor putting mats?

I've had one of the Big Moss 9ft ones for about a year and I really like/recommend it. -
For 1 million (1000K) a year at a public course I would expect the cart to be included ...

The only thing I'd say is try and finish it up next time. These things just happen some days and it helps with mental "toughness" if you don't allow yourself to completely give up and pack it in on a round. I understand giving up on keeping score but still I try and make myself calm down and focus on the next shot and grind it out...

Don't think it's as easy to compress the ball when it's colder - Harder to compress = Less Distance. I think it would have to be WAY colder than 65 to cost you 30-40 yards though...

Yeah - that's a "Country Club" in my opinion. I belong to a "golf club" and I think that is a bit different. I pay $150/month unlimited golf with a cart included 7 days a week. Beer is $2.50 so on Saturday they usually get me for an extra $5.00+tip. No charge for my wife to drive the cart while I play either. My course is still open to the public so play gets slow at times and I'm sure it's not maintained as well from a course standpoint as private clubs, but my entire year is less than two months of what the other poster claimed he paid so I feel like I'm stealing golf from them when I go play. I may go right now...

I lost one just sort of the green on a PAR THREE last weekend. I don't carry a rake as part of my 14 but I'm thinking it might be a stroke saver the next few weeks... I play at Stonebridge a LOT (member and I only live 3.5 miles away). If you are playing over there and want some company shoot me a message and we'll get together. Thinking about sneaking away from work to play right now...

You basically had to put words in the other poster's mouth to make it about splitting hairs. Your statement has to do with the design of the head and not the manufacturing process - apples and oranges. It's a fact that the manufacturing process (forged vs cast) does not affect the playability difficulty of a set. The post you quoted was correct and was worth mentioning as many people do not realize the way a club is manufactured has nothing at all to do with it's "difficulty".

Need more distance!!!!!!!!

I thought this thread was about irons? -
He did what he should have done - their service just sucked for him. It's a golf club, if you hit a golf ball with the face of it and you weren't on pavement then that's normal use. No where on a driver does it state "use on tee only" and it also doesn't say you have to tee up a driver in the rules so to consider on a tee to be a requirement for "normal use" of a club seems a bit out of line. Good to know that the price of your integrity is $300 - perhaps folks should keep this in mind if you put anything up in the For Sale forum... (BTW, you do realize you said it "does" hurt anything - and then misspelled anything, right?)

Ordered a Odyssey Black Series 1
Lefty22 replied to plugged's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I've rolled a few inside at stores and I really like the milled Black Series 1 (no "i"). Has a good weight to it and gets the ball actually rolling very quickly. Only thing I don't like is the sightline, wish you could just get a dot... -
I don't really think you have to be a great player to play one, I really like mine (905R UST V2) and I play to an 18.5. As a rule it isn't going to be as forgiving on mishits as some others so I guess you could say you have to be good to get the most from it (I don't). I like the sound of this head and the feel of the combo with the V2 shaft. Has a more boring trajectory than my previous driver. Sits up square to a bit open and yes I miss left a lot, but I have to really mess up a swing to put one in the right rough and I like at least having a (halfway) consistent miss. I do I hit it straight at least half the time :) I could probably find a "better" driver for me but I don't think I'd find one I'd like better so I'm sticking with this one for a while.

About 1/4 of the ball above the face - I see a lot of folks tee it up way higher with these and do fine though...
