  1. I'm going with a low 4.3. Seems like a guy that knows his swing.
  2. +1 on using a PW or 9 iron from tight lies.
  3. A little hard to skate with cleats on the bottom but I hear what you're layin' down.
  4. Great job to the both of you!
  5. No kidding... this is the oddest thread I've seen in a long time. Seriously, who has a regimen for taking care of their clubs while they play let alone at home after a round? Next post will be, "I just bought a new pair of shoes and want to keep them clean. How do you clean your shoes?" Sorry OP, we have to have some common sense here.
  6. Just got my new Kikkor Golf Shoes this past week and played in them for the first time over the weekend. These shoes are more comfortable than my Nike TW shoes! If you don't want to wear your Dad's shoes then these are for you. http://www.kikkor.com/Products/Shoes Here's a great review as well. http://www.chapeaunoirgolf.com/chape...eppik-win.html
  7. Hydrocodone to the rescue!
  8. I take my clubs out to see a movie and then to a fancy place for dinner. Afterwards we go for walks on the beach and stare up at the stars.
  9. Maybe he saw this thread.
  10. Remember that margin and markup are two totally different numbers. An item with a 50% markup only yields a 33% margin. I won't even begin to define overhead factors in this thread...
  11. I play five wedges because that's what my home course demands. I currently carry a PW, 50* Vokey SM, 54* Vokey SM, 58* Vokey SM, and a 62* Callaway wedge. On a longer course I will pull the 54* and throw in a hybrid if necessary.
  12. Stance and one club length.
  13. Great looking shoes, just ordered my first pair. http://www.kikkor.com/Products/Shoes
  14. Can you come and play my course? I need some new balls! http://www.debellgolf.com/
  15. Do whatever it is that you do on any normal day of golf and you'll be fine. Play within yourself and don't try and hit perfect shots all day. Any time you are trying to hit a perfect shot you are changing your natural swing so just go out and play. Good Luck!
  16. You shouldn't have to worry about them for at least a year of golf. I've had my MP 60s for three years now and just got the lie / loft fixed on my 5 - PW. Of those six clubs they only adjusted 4 of them back to factory standard.
  17. Erik - question for you. Our golf course went through having 5 tees redone a few months ago and moved all of the tees up dramatically for three months. During that time the PLGA did not come out and rerate the course so we continued entering scores as if the slop and rating hadn't changed. Because of the huge differences in length (two of our par threes went from 229 yards and 218 yards down to 135 yards and 125 yards respectively) the scores in our GC went down on average two strokes during that time. What would you have recommended for us to do?
  18. Not bad... looks like you probably hit a fade with that swing.

  20. I've got a Winn Midsize Pistol Grip on my putter. I love it but it's about time for a regrip.
  21. Spent about an hour on the range hitting mid irons today and things turned out pretty well. We'll see what happens on the course tomorrow as that's a totally different story but it makes sense now. I had to really fight myself in the beginning to keep my left arm from doing the chicken wing thing but towards the end it started to feel really good.
  22. I am so bummed that Rickie Fowler isn't going to make the cut. I couldn't wait to see him in that pretty orange outfit again.
  23. Thanks gentlemen, I'll be sure to work on a few of these pointers this weekend. I think that I finally understand what being connected means!
  24. Last year there were 32 balls in the water on 17. Are you taking the over or under on that number this year?
  25. We have a guy in our club that we like to mess with quite often so we stash things in his bag all the time when he isn't looking. Mostly we just add a bunch of rocks to his bag throughout the round so that when he takes it off the cart it's ten to twenty pounds heavier. The WORST thing we ever did to him was put the tail of a dead skunk on top of his bag while he was at the tee. That thing smelled so bad and stunk up his bag so badly that I think he ended up having to get a new bag. God damn he was pissed after that. Aren't we the best friends ever?!?!
