  1. You could simply have the ball too far back in your stance. Your ball should be off of your big toe with the driver and work back from there. BTW is that a persimmon wood? =-)
  2. I really like your swing. If you are having trouble with thinning, I would go with what the above post said. Following through longer will keep you down on the ball longer. Looks like you pop up a bit at the end and if you pop up early, you will top or thin the shot. Staying in form throughout the whole swing would be ideal but I really like what you have going for you.
  3. The best golfer of all time was an amatuer.
  4. Well, I think I am going to let them go. I hit my hybrids irons more consistently. They are so beautiful but I would rather focus on my putting to get regularly into the 70's over learning a new set of clubs AND my putting. (sad face)

Also, you gotta make sure that Laddie's compression is right for you. If you hit a 250 yard drive, you should swing around 95mph or more. At that speed, you might see more distance out of a ball with higher compression.

    The Golf Ball

Honestly the golf ball doesn't matter that much. You might see a slight improvement in distance and a lot more spin if you upgraded to a 3 piece ball with a soft cover but if you play well with what you have and it fits well into YOUR game, don't change brother.
  7. #12 Landa Park, New Braunfels, Tx. Hit a 6 iron regularly.
  8. Cursing around children is bad form. Those guys were idiots.
  9. I'm not sure what you mean by your clubhead is travelling left but if you are referring to the release of the club, that is a good thing. If you are pulling the ball, a good drill is to act like you are squishing out all the water in a sponge under your left heel and exteeeeeennnddd your arms through the hitting area.
  10. I have Dynamic Gold True Temper Sb300's in them. Nothing fancy atm.
  11. Hopefully my new Scotty Cameron will help that number out. =-)
  12. Haha. What a selling point!
  13. These bad boy's are double forged and come with a blade to medium cavity as you progress through the set. They hit very well. http://www.kzgolf.com/sites/courses/...58366&sid;=3011
  14. What a finish. A classic meltdown and a triumph. Enjoyed watching that one.
  15. That is it. It is the golf swing bible.
  16. Which slow motion Casio models are you looking at for around $100.00. All I see on the Casio site are around $300.
  17. That is a hell of a tip.
  18. First of all, great 2 week old swing. Looks great. Some tips I would give you (and please choose carefully, I can tell you you want to pick and choose what works for you because a lot of people's tips will just screw with your mind) Left arm needs to be kept straighter. When you bend your elbow, you shorten your arch and reduce the power on the amount of power in your swing. Through impact you want to extend and straighten your right arm. (Hogan fundamental and he explains it much better in his book.) Your grip actually looks pretty good from what I can see. Try to keep your form longer. You pop up on the back swing and sweep back down on the downswing to meet the ball. Remember take the club back with your shoulders and not your arms. Also, buy Hogan's book. =-P
  19. Awesome. /Want
  20. I'll be playing all winter. =-)
  21. I would ask you a simple question. Do you fade with the new shafts? If you already fade, did it make it worse. If you can keep control of the flex, you can hit longer. As long as it isn't making you less accurate, I would keep them.
  22. I'm not quite that good but in my opinion, strict preshot routine can eliminate a lot of those variables.
  23. I'm looking to draw on the experience of this community and find the best vendor for accurate shaft flex. I have seen Callaway and Taylormade shafts recently come from the factory with a S rating but in reality measure out to be a R flex bordering on A flex. It is ridiculous. Had a buddy order a X-S straight from Callaway and we tested it out and it barely registered over R on the frequency analyzer. Is this just hit or miss or is there someone who will ship me a ^%^##$ shaft that is labeled correctly.
