  2. Finally beat the 6 challenge and it came in a tournament! Narrowly avoided a 6 on the opening hole after hooking my drive into the fescue and only being able to hit it out about 5 yards. Driver was key for the rest of the round as I hit 9/13 fairways. That gave me good approach shots and I ended up with 15 GIRs. Shots of the day included a 62 yard bunker shot on the Par 5 number 7 that I managed to get within 25 feet of the pin and 6 foot left to right breaking putt for bogey to keep the doubles off the scorecard on the Par 3 number 13. I had a 20 foot birdie putt on 18 for a shot at no fives on the back nine which would have been cool but still excited to have finally completed this. I have had numerous rounds where I take a 6 within the last 3 holes, so it was nice to finish strong.
  3. A quick fix mid round can be to just open your club face a little bit on the tee so the ball starts out more to the right and can draw back in towards the fairway. But that is just a quick fix, it could be a variety of things that have been listed above.
  4. Really working on shortening my back-swing so it does not drift past parallel and keeping my head relatively still on the down-swing.

  6. I've been Playing Golf for: 16 years My current handicap index or average score is: 2.5 My typical ball flight is: medium-high draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: snap hook Videos: DL FO
  7. Played there in High School for matches, nice layout but unfortunately after going public a few years ago the quality went downhill. Thiel College still plays there as it's there home course so it isn't the worst course you would ever play. Greens are still pretty good it's just the fairways can be pretty firm and dried out.
  8. After about 1 hour, I managed to get them out. The key for me was using a flat head screwdriver to pry up the plastic part that screws in. That part of the spike had so much dirt in it that it was binded to the shoe like glue. Once it was pried open, the ripper took them out with ease.
