True Temper has a shaft fitter on their website, you should check that out. I also know they make ultra lite shafts.

Rolling club face away to start backswing
iammpspeer replied to andyh's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
I just got finished with the stance and posture section, good book so far, have learned a lot. I have done this a lot at the range as well, but it feels weird to go completly toe up sometimes, so I just feel it out.. But after all these recent threads on people not knowing what they are really teaching gets me worried, I need to make sure I find a good instructor and learn all the positives out of this book! -
I have an idea, but no idea if it is possible to do, but I think another forum I participate on does it. If I want to quote something specific out of someones post, for example a sentence from a paragraph. Is it possible to employ something where you can highlight that sentence with your cursor, then click quote and it only gives you that one highlighted field?

What can I say? lol.

Switching from Tour burner to R9 460
iammpspeer replied to walfice's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
Well, I have always hated the Burner line of woods from TM. On the other hand, I have LOVED the R series from TM, so I say go for it! -
The most replies to one of my threads ever, thanks everyone. Sorry for misspelling Massachusetts.

Iacas, I know you use this and currently I only have my gmail forwarded here, but I want to also get my yahoo account to go there. I am having trouble doing this, do you have a yahoo account set up? Do I have to upgrade and pay for yahoo mail to be able to do it? I am getting this error message when I attempt to verify my account settings: Please wait, this may take a few minutes… Verifying incoming (POP3) mail account "emailmpspeer@yahoo.com" on "pop.mail.yahoo.com": Logging on as emailmpspeer@yahoo.com Verification Failed: "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password" (-17900 ) Some of your account settings are incorrect. Click the left arrow and verify the items highlighted in red. To complete setup without verifying your account settings, click the right arrow. ^^ I know my password/ account name are correct Err, I'm also having issues with my University's Email account.. It is run through Mic. Exchange. FWIW, All these work fine on my iPhone.

Question about my driver/shaft combo
iammpspeer replied to jlund's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
45g is pretty light, most go around 65g on average. -
I wouldn't do it if you are trying to improve. I think it's a bad habit.

And overalls.

I picked Slocum, but I can't remember if I started him, brb... EDIT: nvm, I didn't even pick him lmao.

I would go get it checked out... Let them decide what to do. But if it is a stress fracture, you're likely to be in a boot. I play on a club soccer team and one of my teamates is currently in a boot for a stress fracture.

This may be an ignorant post because I do not know much about this scoring system, but: If you need more players to play in an event, and you don't have or want to give money, you need to give them some type of incentive to play. Why not make the smaller event worth more points in the FedEx cup? This would give players an incentive to play without costing money, correct? But the one think I do not know is if all event are included in the FedEx cup... Just my thought, but I don't think you can force a player to do anything, such as play an event.

I do it quite easily. It happens when my right foot is pointing right and not closed.

All you guys on here from MA who voted the correct way today, thanks. I think it speaks volumes on how politicians do everything BUT speak for the people, and today MA let them know it.

Generally Speaking: I personally think they kind of underestimate. I would say 110 is x-flex, but this is the chart I found.
-
You could kick the 19 and do it yourself, but I guess you would have to buy the supplies to do that.
-
Weight: Heavier usually means you swing slower = can mean you will be able to control it more. It is also a feel issue, whatever feels best with your swing. No to 1a. Flexpoint, where the shaft flexes. If there is a low flex point/kick point, you will have a higher ball flight and visa versa. Torque, how much the shaft twists. 2.8 is low I believe. 3.5 is about avg I would say. Yes, less torque means you would it would not rotate as much and could mean less shanks, but torque can also work the other way depending upon how your swing. Maybe you need higher torque to get the clubhead square. I have no idea HOW a monitors reads this, it just does. THis is nmore importatnt in woods. Spin- Kick points can alter spin, how you swing can alter spin, clubhead can alter spin, wind can alter spin. Less toque I believe would give you less spin. Lauch angle- I don't know what a "Mid angle" is. If yours is high, get a kickpoint to help with that. I'm sure there are other factors, but I know that is one. If your high angle is because of spin rate, consider torque. with your swing speed.. stiff. I hope im not wrong on any of this, but I could be. My best reccomendation is to get fit and they will look at all that for you!

It is a new website and it is quite confusing IMO. I was under the impression that I could fully customize my wedges using their create your own club thing on their website. Now it says it is $350 to do that! I thought it was $100 or $110 for the cast wedges customized how you want, is that not the case now?

I would like to see you hold your follow through a little longer, to make sure you stay on balance and not fall forward. Now, about your feet. Though it is hard to tell from that angle, it looks like you are opening both of your feet in your stance. if these slashes were your feet, it would look like this staring down: \ /

All of his are hilarious.
