Played: Pebble Beach.... the last day (2 weeks prior to the Tiger Record US Open)... before the USGA closed the course for prep. Darn... the rough was rough.

Check how far your hands are at top of backswing. The highier the hands the greater the arc... the better the timing.

The G-5 is great. Long battery life. Great color and info when playing new courses.

Forget the -10 series... I just played with my new set of G15's... Awesome... They go straight and high. I kept my G5 SW, UW, LW ... for the old grooves.

Check position of driver face at the 3:00 clock position of your take-away. Make sure it is square to open... The 'hook' will be no more.

Finally played my new G15's... No difference from the fairway... However, the #9 and #PW tend to 'fly' from the bermuda rough.

Curious... For the amateur... Any difference in spin rate from: 1) Fairway cut 2) Rough Why would I buy any new set?

Pine Barrens is ranked iin the top 100 in every major golf mag. Also, we have Juliet Falls ($32.00) a new comer on the ranking list. How much does it cost to play those ranked Michigan courses???

Which club would be used out of greenside bunkers???? 15* to 16* for sand shots.
