I am confused as to how you are at the weight and height you say you are at if in fact you do stick to the diet you described. Eating right is all about spreading out your meals throughout the day like MARK ^^^^^^ just said. which it seems you do just fine. The only thing I would change is cut out that PB snack at night. You don't need to be consuming the fat and amount of calories that is in PB at that time of day. Save that for earlier and snack on fruit or carrots before bed. Other than that, the diet you laid out is very good and there really is no way of gaining unwanted weight on that diet when it is combined with exercise. In fact if you wanted to put on muscle as well as getting rid of unneccessary weight you would need to be eating more than you listed. But as for weightloss, that diet is pretty good. You should up your exercise times. Go on a 90 min brisk walk around the neighborhood 4 or 5 times a week.

I accidentaly let my status get to inactive when I forgot to pay my dues in time. When I finally paid them and my index was active again I had an M next to it for a little bit.

Whats the reason that no Srixon tour staffer plays the tour yellow version of their ball? I have used them before (ZStar XV) and really enjoyed looking at them both at address and as they fly.

Nike Vr Covert Driver - What do you think?
out_in_30 replied to Casey's topic in Clubs, Grips, Shafts, Fitting
I had a chance to hit both models of the covert. I like the look of the club, the red is actually quite well done and isn't distracting at all. However, I didn't like hitting the Tour model at all. The sound was tinny to me and it had a dead feeling to it. I hit it the same distance as my PING i20. The performance head was much better as far as sound goes. It has a solid smack sound that I really like. The feel was pretty good compared to the Tour model. It felt more solid but still felt kinda smushy instead of springy. If I had to hit this club I would choose the performance over the tour no question. But hitting my i20 after hitting the Coverts really put into perspective how mediocre both of the Coverts really are. -
awesome tips man. thanks a lot. I will keep that in mind tomorrw during prac. round. any break downs for the back 9?

anyone familiar with this course? I am playing in a tournament there this weekend and might not get a practice round. I am a pretty long hitter. Any words of advice??

i just put a devotion 7 in my driver. shot dispertion is much tighter. I gained a couple miles an hour clubhead speed and lost 600rpm. I was on a vector launch monitor and it said I was at 112 with my fujikura and 116 with the oban. 2600rpm with the fuji and 2000 with the oban.. i love the shaft.

best gps is LASER .. haha.. thats my opinion.. i really think lasers are more advantageous to gps.. more accurate and you can tag whatever you want and get exact distance accurate to within 3 feet.

he uses a whiteboard i believe in the driver.. my friend has a whiteboard in his titleist driver... it weighs like 5 lbs..lol

hi fellow sand trappers. im beginning to think the shafts in my driver and 3 wood are too stiff see below for shafts. dont get me wrong... i have high club head speed and hit my driver 290-315 consistently. but since ive smoothed out my swing on the whole and it is not quite as jerky anymore I think I would do just fine with maybe a ~75g stiff shaft or so to add some weight.. i dont want it too light. Ive been losing my shots off the tee left (lefty) and when I hit drivers with stiff shafts I crush them straight down the middle and far. My question is.. its possible since I smoothed out my swing that the shafts i have now just dont fit my tempo and stiff would be correct right? anyone a shaft expert.. much appreciated thank you.. have a great day all.

Whats the key to a longer shots?

lag = club head speed = distance -
done it countless times... did it today.. but i get free buckets so I dont feel as bad... plus i always give the balls to someone else.

Do you use a rangefinder?
out_in_30 replied to StrayCat's topic in Balls, Carts/Bags, Apparel, Gear, Etc.
rangefinders are almost a must for me.. i have one on the way. lasers are night and day compared to gps. the info you can attain from them is much better than the the gps. they are accurate to within 1 yard. compared to ~5-8 yards with gps. you can laser anything you want as opposed to getting already programmed yardages. this all IMO of course but its almost common sense. lasers are much better than gps. -
my longest drive in the fairway was 2 weeks ago.. 405 yards. first 400+ ive ever hit. hit a 5 yard draw with a bit of a tailwind.. 540 yard par 5. had 135 into the hole.. i hit a lot of drives over 300 but not all are in fairway. im sure this post will bring out a ton of haters who think im full of it... bring it on. this is 100% truthful as i have nothing to gain by posting BS. i was playing with three other guys who all attest to it.

yea i struggle with this too at times.. since i hit the ball so hard, the slightest swing error sends it up to 30 yards or more offline which can lead to dbl bogey. what i have learned to do is that when i absolutely MUST get the ball in play (on a tight par 4 or a hazard ridden hole) i leave driver in the bag. ive been hitting 3 irons and 3 woods off most tees. Ive cut my driver usage down to about 2 or 3 per round max. usually just on par 5s. ive found that this helps avoid penalty strokes.

cool thank you. that will most likely be next week

question: I posted a Tournament round online a few minutes ago and it said it posted but now i cant see it anywhere. The tourney was a 9 hole qualifier round which obviously isnt as big as an 18 hole one but it was a tournament round nonetheless. Anyone know why it isnt visible under recent scores anymore?

sigh, what have I done? confused.

what ive learned is that its best to just check them every 6 months or so and adjust accordingly.. i couldnt believe how flat they became. the marks were almost not even on any of the lines of the tape. i went to the range today and was working on some things in my swing and was hitting the ball dead straight. there is signs of life.. but new irons are definitely on the horizon. too bad because i love these 695MBs. Most likely am going to go to the 710 CBs -
as far as i know.. as long as you dont smoke anything with nicotine in it you are fine... weed doesnt have nicotine i dont think .. has many of the same properties as cigarette smoke but the active ingredient is not nicotine. but i am no doctor.. and i dont smoke anything.. but good luck quitting cigs.. they are horrible for you.

Need to find my tempo??? How??
out_in_30 replied to SandSpanker's topic in Instruction and Playing Tips
well... you could count.. 1.....2 2 is impact. -
its all relative man.. everybody on here harps on low handicappers that say they had a bad day and shot 78 or whatever. to a 15 thats great but to a 3 a 78 isnt that good. the feelings and emotions are the same between a 3 that shoots 78 and a 15 that shoots 100. that being said. to the OP.. make sure your shoulders are squared up when you putt.. i usually miss every single putt if my shoulders arent square. other than that.. all i can say is it will be better next time.

i am the OP... and i got my irons 2* upright from the factory. i also fine tuned them with my friend who is a repair guy at my local shop... they were bent upright and over time went way flat. so in this case it is apparently much more difficult to get them where they need to be. which i didnt know
